Agreed. I lipped out three +\- 10-footers and drained 6 other +\- 10-footers today. The hater in our group commented that “it was about time” when I finally missed a +\- 10-footer bender on Hole 15 by a few inches. On the Hole 16 Par 5, I got into deep rough trouble on my second shot, had to punch out into the fairway, then dropped a 90-yard shot to 10-feet below the hole. I absolutely and authoritatively drained that putt. That was an extremely rewarding feeling...haha.

While waiting for the custom grip to arrive, something else floated into my mind from the ether and I decided to switch gears on the etching. This is the way…of a true putter ho…haha.

 

Tim was already done with the putter, but was totally ok with it because that’s the kind of dude he is. To make things right, I sent him the custom grip because it absolutely has to go on that exact putter. I think he’ll be selling it on eBay. So some lucky person will have a really cool putter with a matching custom logo’d grip that took a while to get. Check your eBay Bellum Winmore feed; I’ll also post a link when I see it pop up. You’ll know it when you see it.

I totally agree with everyone who says that Tim is truly gifted, hard working and a great guy.

Here are some terrible pictures of three Bellum Winmore's in my collection. These are not hand softened (ground down edges) or "flame touched", so a bit different than most of the putter pictures Posted and more of the 2016 offerings back when he and his partner started out.

 

787 Midi in Brushed Satin finish with TT Satin fluted shaft.

 

747 in Dark Charcoal PVD "Murdered Out" with shinny black paint fill, black shaft and black grip.

 

Cloverdale in Satin Bead Blast finish with TT Satin fluted shaft.

 

If anyone wants me to Post more pictures I will. They are all awesome, but the Laguna style 747 is super sick.

I just had a Bellum Winmore 787 custom built for me and it’s almost face balanced but I have to tell you, the lighter head weight  is actually better for me and Tim did a great job customizing it to my specs. The blue look along with the extensive artwork make this a one of a kind and don’t forget about the Gripmaster Exotic Stingray grip. Just a masterpiece in my opinion.

Totally. Tim’s a good dude and it’s cool to see him pushing the envelope a bit with some really cool hand work on this piece. That grip looks pretty sweet. Do you think it changes the feel at all? 🤔 I suppose you wouldn’t know since you obviously didn’t try it out with another grip, but just as a guess?…

I don’t think he calls his finishes anything in particular.  During discussions on what you want him to do you give him ideas on what you want the putter to look like.

Absolutely my favorite experience with a builder ever.  Just picked this one up from Tim.  He softened it to 330g... love the short neck and shorter heel-to-toe length.  Plays very much like an old Santa Fe Two Tei3. The weighting and balance he gets with the hosel spud, vs. cup, is spot on.  Can't say enough about his hand and finish work... both are seamless.

 

I hope his future endeavors prove successful

I have now used it for a few rounds with the stingray grip and it’s held up well in FL humidity and the feel is great and not slippery at all but on the smaller side from what I am used to. I do know exactly where it’s hit on the face and drained a 30’ yesterday for a birdie so I would say Control and feel is a 10 but the smaller size does tend me to get flippy  with it, if that makes sense. Would I go out and spend $129 for this grip NO, but since Tim was nice enough to add the special touch then it’s very nice and even more customized.

 far as the color of the putter goes, in the sun it’s more oceans blue than dark with some copper tones mixed in. Definitely will stay in the bag.
