Bushnell Launch Pro Device with Foresight

New firmware worked great on the range tonight.  ~50 balls or so hit between a buddy and myself.  He was trying to get rid of some snappy hooks and hit about 40 and I hit 8-10 after him. I put a new sticker on my driver and club data was working again and set a new PR for club speed!

Well that’s 13 MPH faster than my PR… looks like I have some training to do. Hahaha 👍

Good luck!  Think the last 5-6 mph for me has been from a steady diet of Dr. Kwon videos.

To remedy this you have to swipe down for the settings panel and it should kick itself awake. I tried with wifi, couldn't get the performance app to connect at all.

Yeah its very strange, I've had long sessions where it works fine and others where it'll do it after 4 or 5 shots. Again, it could be a left handed only glitch.

Depends  on what level of subscription (or fully unlocked) you have.

 

Built in Wi-Fi from the unit allows your iPhone or iPad to connect and get great data with the Foresight  app FSX Pro or FSX Performance.

Just replaced my Skytrak with a BLP last night, seeing some suspect club readings.  For a pitching wedge, I've seen it show Angle of Attack anywhere from from 4* to 9* Up.  On a Trackman, I don't even get 3* up with my driver, so I question this reading.   For reference, I am hitting off a Wittek Quattro mat and the BLP is also on the mat at the same level and I am using a white ball and a Vokey SM9 Brushed Steel wedge.

AoA is measured at sightly different points with every device so you're not going to get full equivalency between even Trackman and Quad. Best to establish a baseline and work on incremental changes from that number.

 

But yeah, any positive AoA value with a wedge seems fishy.

Other than the alignment feature, I don't see any way to calibrate this bad boy.  Has anyone seen documentation for that?

Alignment and Barometer, also making sure the unit is level with the ball.

 

That’s one thing that makes the unit so attractive compared to others…ease of setup.

Another perfect software session today.

 

Used it to fine tune path….fixed in 30 minutes what would normally take a weekend

of pounding balls at the range to improve.
