Callaway Rogue ST Pro Irons

Going to take these out and a set of Callaway x forged to see what the deal is. IT would hurt to sell these, but honestly looking forward may not be a huge fan of the feel as I hone my swing.

I always run into a similar problem. Really, it’s more of a preference. No matter how good the designs are — and I have tried Mizuno 225, PXG 0317T and a brief foray with Apex Pro 21 — I don’t care for hollow body or “filled” heads for the full set. But I see their value on the long end.

I think I just prefer forged irons, plain and simple. I ended up selling the filled heads and am going with the sweet-feeling New Level 480-TC or MC in 6-P (playing the TC right now) and I am going to blend in two hollow heads in the 4 and 5 for more forgiveness on longer shots. But I don’t like the chunky driving iron look either. So no Srixon-type driving irons.

I have narrowed it down to the Apex Pro or TaylorMade P770. Both are nice. The P770 launches higher but I think that can be matched with the Apex Pro if lofts are weakened 1 degree. Still deciding. I may even consider the TM Qi10 or Cally AI Smoke irons in the 4 iron spot.
