This is the video that changed everything...they tipped 2" and brought about the ventus purple! Tremendous kick.

I found tipping of over an inch really brings down flight and spin on the ventus. I have a 9x tipped 2” and have tried the 7 and 8x in my 4 wood as well with various tipping.

Actually they are tipped 2" like TXG did. They still play as soft or softer than the blue...

Yes ventus red, launch varies with everybody but for me I found the red to be marginally higher with a softer tip feel but overall very similar to the black. In the ventus line it might be the high launch model but it’s not really that high launching of a shaft in general, at least imo.

It's a great shaft. I may regret it, but I had a shoulder replaced, I bought all this equipment, and I haven't used any of it. I think I have to get fit, because my shoulder replacement has change my swing dramatically.
