New Flynn Alto+ irons

Just received the new Flynn Alto+ irons with the black finish and black shafts for my daughter -she's copying me since I have the blacked out AP2's.

 

They look just fire...and it seems like she likes the feel of them better than her old Alto's. Thinner topline and they feel a bit more 'real' in your hands than the older version. Flynn's forged wedges were already legit, but I am liking the new irons for anyone looking. I think WAY nicer than than the smiler USK Tour series.

My daughter got a set too. Really liking them as well. Was between these and prodi g's but the Ping's still felt heavy to her.

Just picked up the Alto+ 5-PW & SW for my 9 year old boy!

 

Interested to see the quality/durability of the irons and wedge versus the Pings.

We been using the new Alto+ since the day they came out, we like them, only thing I will say is, the black comes off pretty quick, but my 9 year old practices and uses his 56 and 60 a lot, the other clubs seem to be ok for now. I might need to get another wedge set or two not just because of the black coming off, but notice we are already losing some spin.

I just upgraded my 11 y/o son from a set of S2 Alto (5-LW) to a set of S3 Alto+ (4-LW).  He absolutely loves them.  IMHO, if your kids can hit consistently, Flynn’s irons are one of the best deals out there.  My guy has been playing since he was about 5-6 so his ball striking is pretty consistent.

 

In his previous set, we used the Cobra F9 Jr driver and the Flynn FW and H.  This time we’re using a cut down M1 driver with a Vista Pro R shaft and cut down Rogue FW and H both with Aldila Synergy A shafts.

I bought these for my son back in November and he has been playing with them all winter.  His Trackman numbers were better with the TS3 but he seems to hit them a straighter.  The black looked great  for about a week.  Now they look "banged up cool"
