Mizuno wait time?

JUST GOT AN UPDATE!!!! My clubs will deliver on Wednesday. Got tracking number and all. 

Placed order on 4/21, entered into Mizuno's system on 4/22. 

6 weeks and 4 days

Just curious how do you know when the order was entered into Mizuno's system? Would hate to be the guy with the nightmare story of it never getting entered after waiting 6 weeks.

I ordered through golf galaxy and they can see when Mizuno accepts the order. Wherever you ordered it from I would call and ask.

I got my 923 HMs on 6/1 after ordering on 4/18 (6 weeks and 1 day).  No quality issues, just a long wait.  Roger Dunn was understanding and gave me a bit extra on my traded in irons.

I was just going to ask about quality issues following the long wait. I have read about some issues with other club makers, and was hoping that Mizuno was getting it right. I’ll probably be placing an order for some new Hot Metals in the near future.

I just called Mizuno and asked the general question about what date orders are they working on. They indicated 4/24 orders are being worked on today.

Goodness gracious… I expect they’ll be working on 5/4 orders sometime in July at this rate.

I’m headed out of town next week for work and won’t be able to hit my 4/26 ordered irons until basically July now. Promise date by club champion has been updated to 6/14 for it to arrive at their build shop, so I won’t be to be until probably 6/17. Not what I expected when I got fit in mid-spring.  Sucks.

Fingers crossed my two Forgeds come this week, because that's 6 weeks. I am looking forward to some extra forgiveness.

You laugh, but when I ordered my 919s, I got them in less than a week. I guess those days are long gone.

I hit my 923 HMP in 2 weeks, ordered after fitting in February

well. got my clubs today. hit them in the bay and I must say the are beautiful. But. I go from hitting a 7 iron 156/165 to 182/190. And the ball is rolling out 20 yards. 7 iron is going from 2000 spin to max 4000 and even seen some one. While my regular gamer is 5500/6000. 
 

maybe there will be an adjustment period but I need stoping power not rollout.

I’ve not received a notification on my 4/25. I really was hoping to put them in play this weekend. The wait continues.

Nice! When you say you just received your tracking information…did you get it through UPS notification or through the dealer that you order them from. I’m still waiting on my 4/25 order. Called Mizuno today and they said 4/25 should have shipped earlier in the week as they are working on 4/26 orders now.

  I had to hound the retailer for it this morning.  They "said" the tracking information just hit their system, but it could've been earlier this week.  Call your dealer, they should have it.

Not sure if anyone has ever mentioned this but if you go onto Golf Galaxy's website and build a custom Mizuno set through their site or just a wedge to your specs, right before you 'add to cart' it gives you the anticipated wait time.  When I bought my 923 forged set it said 5 weeks which was accurate now that I'm waiting for my S23 wedge it says 6 weeks which seems in line with others are saying about their calls to mizuno.  Passing along in case that'll save other people some time.

Did any of you order irons with Project X LZ shafts? I know TM is having an issue sourcing the 4 iron and PW shafts and I heard other OEMs are having similar issues sourcing LZ shafts too.

I did. Project x lz 6.0 to be specific…. Order date 04/27.

My 2 forgeds are DG 120s, with the heads bent 2 weak. So don't think it's a Project X issue.

But I dunno if Canada would be any different anyway.

I would imagine that Mizuno USA gets the Canadian orders too? Or is there a Mizuno shop somewhere in Canada too?

When I talked with Mizuno USA yesterday they don’t have any issues right now with any shafts or grips. They said they are ordering the shafts/grips for 4/27 and 4/28 orders. 
 

My 4/25 order was shipped out yesterday will be delivered tomorrow. Just got the notification from UPS.
