Love that knuckle neck. Unfortunately, something tells me we will be stuck in the slant neck/single bend/double bend world forever with SC retail offerings. You may get it on one of those MOTO Monday drops or Circle T drops but it is frustrating that you have very limited customization when ordering your putter. Length and grip only is crazy in 2022

Yep. It may be just me but I’m also annoyed that there are no cool stamping options for mallets. Seems ridiculous that unless it’s a blade I can’t get a Jackpot Johnny (for instance, or whatever). It’s got to be a materials handling issue as obviously a hammer and a stamp will make a mark on anything malleable you strike, right?

It's already pretty outrageous you can't just directly order a custom putter from the Custom Shop. The whole, buy one and ship it to us thing is so crazy to me. You literally are a branch of Titleist lol

Indeed. I ordered my 5.5 “circle H” with a matador mid and had it in a week (SoCal advantage) but that’s where it starts and stops. Scotty is an “independent entity” …WHATEVER - but the competition caught on long ago from pricing on out. I do love my 5.5 but losing it for a month just to get the new flat grip to try and grab a headcover is lame.

Anyone who upgraded from the previous x7 to something from the 2022 lineup and why? I tried the old x7 and fell in love with the alignment and balance instantly. Don’t know if I should just pull the trigger or explore from the 2022 lineup also, the new x7 looks like a total new putter.

I got the 11.5 in both years

Like the earlier one much better for whatever reason.  Just roll it better, even though I think the sole is the only difference?

Tried my 5.5 again this week. 34 and 37 putts. For some reason the toe hang feels unstable on this putter.  Don’t seem to have that issue with my flow neck hydroblast or 7s.  Maybe it’s just me…

Swag, Hatch, Sugarskull are all good options depending on your tastes. Sugarskull are bit boxy compared to the other two. Delilah from Girly Golfer does great custom work, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her again. There is a thread over on the Golf Style and Accessories forum that covers this pretty well

I'm familiar with Swag. Wasn't sure if their covers work well with center shaft covers. I'll check out the thread over on the accessories side.

Happen to have a link you could drop? The thread I found on center shaft covers hasn't had a post since 2011.

 Disregard the Swag, hatch, and SSG part. I read X5s as in multiple X5 putters, not as the center shafted version of the X5. Sorry about that, Delilah can do something for you though I believe.

Wouldn’t that be a 2024 model rather than the 2022 version this thread is about? I didn’t think the 2022 could still be ordered, it can’t round where I live.

No I have been searching for the 22 model because i do not like the 24 version visually as much. Not easy to find but my buddy has one and I have been using it for 6 months and love it

I rolled the 24 in store and it was nice but not the same. I didn't like the look as much as the 22 version. I have been using my friend's 22 for the past few weeks and love it so went on the hunt to dig one up. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow i will keep u posted.
