I typically dont change clubs all that often, I tend to update equipment when needed and play it till I wear it out, or something "ACTUALLY" better comes along. Well, quite a few things have come along in the past few years that have been great upgrades for my game.

 

 

 

I absolutely loved my 910 D3 Driver, until I tried out the Callaway Epic Sub Zero and that kicked my 910 D3 out of the bag. I really enjoyed that Epic, but I was never really 100% on board. As soon as the TSi3 came out and I hit a few shots, it was exactly what I was looking for. I feel it is an upgraded version of the fantastic 910 D3. I did not get a fitting on this one, I hit a few shafts on the monitor and chose the RDX Smoke in X stiff off the rack. I plan to do a shaft fitting for this head soon as I may be leaving some yardage out there. I love this driver. Set to B1

Not much else to say here, been using this 915F for a long time and I still like it so there we are. I am looking to potentially upgrade to a TSi3 3 wood soon. Again, this guy was off the rack and it smokes. Set to B1.

 

 

 

Another recent upgrade to TSi2 for the hybrid. I had a Callaway XR hybrid in the bag for a long time and it felt like time. I tried the TSi3 hybrid and I just was not able to get a long with it. TSi2 in hybrid feels better, sounds better and has a great flight. The TSi3 seemed too finicky for me and had a very boring and tough to manipulate ball flight. It felt and sounded like a rock as well. 

 

 

 

 

 

I was a CB player forever. Love the CB's. I tried over and over to get into an AP2, but just couldn't do it with the thicker top line, offset and feel of that iron. I wanted a bit of a change and at the time, I was getting great numbers out of an MB so I played those for awhile and absolutely love the MB. BUT, you loose some of that help. I dont play and practice enough anymore to realistically play and MB all the time, but I will say I have been killing it lately with some swing changes so I plan to get my MB heads shafted so I have the option to play them if I like. 

 

When the newest T100 came out, I was absolutely on board. I felt that this was the iron I was looking for for so many years. Looks like a blade, feels similar to a blade, offers some forgiveness. I am really enjoying the T100. Currently playing my irons 2 deg flat, 1 deg strong with PX 6.0.

 

 

 

 

I don't use my 50 very often so I'll keep it in the bag for now. SM5 50 F grind and 8 bounce. SM9 54 and 58 in S grind with 10 deg of bounce. 2 deg flat.

 

 

 

I have been gaming a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Mid-Slant since I can't even remember, maybe 11 years? Anyways, my putting was always OK. Some days I just had it and others, it was nothing spectacular. Recently the Scotty Cameron 5.5 came out and I was very intrigued. Something about was just drawing  me in to try it out. I went to the store to roll a few putts with it and it was game over. I had to have that putter. I was making putts with ease vs my Mid-Slant. The 5.5 is clearly better suited for my stroke. I am putting better than I ever have in the 28 years that I have been playing this game. This putter isn't going anywhere and may be in the bag for life. 34 inches cut down to 33. Swapped out the stock grip for a Golf Pride Pro Only Red. I found that I liked a fatter grip on my Newport, but with this new 5.5, I find that I like to have more face control with how well it swings so I went back to a smaller grip. Plus it matches perfecto.

 

 

 

 

 

In case anyone is wondering, I found these head covers online and liked them so much, I bought 3 more in different designs. The fit is perfect for the Scotty Cameron Mallets and has a dual magnet closure. They are from a company called Pearly Gates Golf. I purchased mine on DHGate.

Leupold GX3-i has been my go-to rangefinder for years, but recently upgraded to a Bushnell Pro XE and it is for sure an upgrade! 

 

 

And last but not least and worthy of a mention, this little bluetooth speaker I got from Wal-Mart. I'm not into super loud music and essentially partying on the course, but I do enjoy a little music at a reasonable volume when I play. This guy sounds fantastic, fits in cart cup holders nicely, has awesome battery life and costs less than $10. (onn Mini Rugged Bluetooth Speaker).

Sold bag. I am wanting to go back to Titleist woods. I really want to hit the TSI3 and TSR3 or even try out the TSR4 driver.

Yeah I have dabbled in a little bit of everything but always end up right back to Titleist every time. I really haven’t had any big issues with other brands, but Titleist always seems to check all the boxes for me from putters to drivers. I love the look, feel, sound and performance of everything they make. I will say tho, the TSi3 hybrid is very different. It has a very muted feel and sound. It doesn’t feel hot to me at all, it’s bizarre. I’m going to be getting a quality driver/woods shaft fitting so a different shaft may be a solution.

Just kicked the Jaws out of the bag. My PW is at 46 deg so I feel that a 50/54/59 setup works best for me. I was never really feeling the 50/56/60.

Just stopped into Edwin Watts and saw this for $449, upgraded! I really enjoy my Leupold GX-3i, but this is for sure an upgrade.

Yeah I've had just about everything in my bag over the years, but I find I am at home with Titleist, FJ, etc.

Love the bag. I was close to your setup with driver, irons, and wedges. I too had a 5.5 but I didn’t get on too well with distance control for whatever reason.

Maybe try lighter weights? I found that playing with weights is huge for dialing in distance control on Camerons. Ive never really had an issue with distance control. If anything, I leave the 5.5 a bit short but I need to get used to it a bit more. For me, it just swings so true and my Newport could get a bit wonky on the takeaway...

Just don't get rid of your OG... ever. Always worth giving something new a shot. I was blown away by the 5.5.

The TSi3 hybrid and I were not getting along... it just wasn't working. Went with TSi2 and seems much better for me. The TSi3 was too finicky for me and I found it less workable with ball flight.

 

TSi2 feels better, sounds better and has a great flight that seems more workable with less effort. 21 degree set to D1.
