How often do these things go on sale? Just got permission from the boss to buy one and the code is no longer valid. All the reviews I’m seeing on Spornia are awesome.

Did you end up buying Spornia with a code?  I looked around but couldn't find one.

No, it’s still sitting in the checkout cart. I also haven’t gotten my r10 calibrated to test before buying the net. I think without a discount I’ll still buy it in the next week or so.

I've been kicking tires on a garage sim setup for months now and keep coming back to Spornia.  Does anyone have experience using their nets with the screen?  

 

I have an R10 and am not going for the full blown golf shop experience.  Just want something that will do the job with durability and hold a screen.

I have the SPG7 with the white projector screen from Spornia. Its been good so far. Durability looks to be equal with the included black target screen. I also have an R10 as well and the Spornia/R10/GSPro combo has been awesome

Awesome, thanks for letting me know!  Since the Sporting screen is smaller, do you have the projector on the floor with a guard or is it ceiling / wall mounted?

I use a really old projector for it. https://www.projectorcentral.com/NEC-NP115.htm. NEC NP115, I think it released in 2012, but it still works so I couldnt justify buying a 4k projector or something like that. I got it standing on top of a little table. It is about 3 feet above the ground and on my right. The picture doesn't fit perfectly but I keystoned it and its fine for me. It just sits on a table to the right of my hitting area and projects a skewed image but doesn't bother me

Thank you so much again!  The way you explained your projector setup was perfect.  I really didn't want to mount anything to the ceiling and the ground guards I've found are stupidly expensive for what they are.  I like your solution.

Does the SPG 7 go high enough for full wedge shots in your experience?

Depends how close you stand. The top net will catch it if you’re close (like 2 feet) behind it, but full flop shots probably not if you’re standing far back enough.

I pulled the trigger despite not having a discount code and love the product so far.  It’s pretty quiet at impact and reads my r10.  Highly recommend.

It’s an amazing net.  I went with the SP-7 and it’s a perfect fit in my garage.  Paired it with a Fiberbuilt 4x6 mat and a Skytrak.

Great feedback!  I still haven’t pulled the trigger as I just didn’t know how well it would work in my garage.  I’ve measured and measured and the SPG - 7 would be the call.  Now you have me thinking about it again.

Yeah mine is on an outdoor concrete patio. I bought the shank net which I didn’t think I’d need, but a couple balls  have found their way into it. The chipping has hit the top net (I think it goes 9’ high). Overall I hit over 500 balls into it over the course of the week and it looks brand new still. The only think I don’t like is that it’s a pain in the a** to put away lol. Hopefully that part gets easier with repetition. My wife wouldn’t allow for a permanent net like the go sports elite net or the net return, but I really like the Spornia SPG 7 so far.

the 7 is fine, for the price I’m glad I went with that. If I had no budget then I would have gone with the 8.  The 7 is surprisingly big when set up.
