I dont get why every player litteraly has to have one vokey in their bag even if they are a staffer of a non titliest company. So strange. Its almost every player.

I was going to make the exact same comment.  Almost without fail the lob wedge is a vokey even amongst staffers who are all in their sponsors otherwise.

Putter, Lob wedge and 3 wood are the clubs we see most outside of the sponsor. Hard to replace such important clubs.

I play a Vokey lob with MG3 48, 52, and 56. I just liked the weighting of the Vokey for more delicate shots. The grind options are also better, but that shouldn’t really be an issue for tour guys.

I just surprises me that the other brands can't come up with something for their tour guys that checks all the boxes the vokeys do.  Though I imagine the marketing opportunities around lob wedges are less lucrative for the company than drivers so they don't really emphasize it much.

Yeah the only reason I got one Vokey in my bag started because the 62* loft options were so limited, then I found out that I love em, so I have a 58* in my garage I need to shaft up.  Might slowly replace my 54* and 50* before next season starts...

Spot on answer. Vokeys are the best wedges now for many years and every player wants them. But many of the contracts limit the ability to play a full set.  So they go with the most important iron in the bag.  Its all the options Vokey has available and whats been proven instead of some tour van kid grinding away making each one slightly different. 
its very similar to why every player wanted TMag as their driver for most of the last 10yrs.
Or why Ventus has been the top shaft. 
These are all very subtle, little changes that many times not even helping these players.
But they will take all they can.

Vokeys are free and proven winers in every category.

Yes and it's always the T-grind or Low Bounce K in the lob wedge. 

 

Also he's playing the Tour-V 125 even through the wedges? That shaft is STIFF.
