2022 Mizuno RB Tour and RB Tour X

What'd you end up settling on for the season? I've recently picked up the diamond and like it but I would like something closer to the prov1x. I've heard the rb tour x is likely that ball.

I've been playing the Srixon Diamond and RB TourX....I'm not sure I can pick the better of the two.  I like them both......a lot.  Watch for sales and stock up on either.

For me the RB Tour X over the Diamond.  Felt better, nicer ball flight and a few more yards.

Very surprised with Mizuno's ball offering and how under the radar it is...

Any durability issues? Seems there are concerns all over this thread.

Not with my playing experience.  Then again I dont focus on it.  If a ball scuffs I just get a new one.

Too much to think about when playing than to worry if a wedge scuffed the ball.  Just trying to keep it on the short grass and 2 putt to keep my money in my pocket...

Saw the new RB Tours on sale for 20% off and decided to give them a try.  I'm a long-time ProV1X player but have abandoned it due to age (not to mention the new crazy price point!).  Have been playing prior gen Srixon Z Stars, which I like off of every club except the driver (too much spin and ballooning).  Played my first round yesterday with the RB Tour, and was extremely pleased with the results.  Perfect driver traj (mid height and no ballooning).  Definitely longer than the Z Star due to the spin issue.  My driver is ST-Z 220 with Grafalloy ProLite S at 9.5*.   Iron distances were a bit longer than with the Z Stars (3-5 yds).  After 18 holes with the same ball, it looked like new except for grass marks.  Will be giving it another try next time I play but my initial impression is to go buy some more since they're on sale!  Really liked them!   Quick edit - I decided on the Tour rather than the Tour X due to the advertized lower driver traj for the Tour, which I prefer.

Any more recent updates on the offerings?  They intrigue me.  Obviously their irons are top shelf, but wonder if the RB tour and tour x were indeed worthy of some attention.

@Lord Helmet just an outstanding ball.  Think PV1 with a tab less spin for the RB Tour.

I know Mizuno was giving away 2 ball packs as promos.  Maybe ask you pro if they can get some from the rep.

But do give them a try.

Thx.  Might try a sleeve of each, been watching lots of vids.  Great reviews.  Since I prefer PV1x I lean RBT x off the top of my head...

Yes I agree the RBTX would be your best bet, if you play the PVIX.  Check in your clubs pro shop and see if they are still giving them out as the 2 pack brings one of each.  Good luck!
