Can anyone compare these or the TB-5's in size and playability to the 2015 Kuros?

I cannot.  Don't know what a Kuros is.  TB-5's were just too big to my eye.  I hit game improvement irons so poorly.  Put my Miura 001's or Baby Blades in the bag and I'm a much better player.  TB-7's are as big as I can handle right now and like I said earlier-  They are crazy forgiving for what they are.  I have a GC3 and the ball speed retention is ridiculous on low and toe strikes.  I have no idea how they do it.  I imagine the TB-5's would be better due to more face area and thicker sole..

I ordered a set of TB-7’s that will be here next week , the one thing that seems to pop up with the 5’s in every description is the size and I have no interest in getting anything too big. I’m sure the 7’s will be fine and have yet to hear anything negative about them.

Got mine to the range last night for the first time. Not sure about distances since there was some wind blowing in and the balls there are notoriously short but one thing for sure , they’re blades. Not saying that in a bad way at all but in the sense that I could manipulate them at will . It was pretty fun hitting blades again, I’ve been playing 2015 Kuros for the last couple years and have tried multiple times to kick them out of the bag but to no avail. After last night’s introduction , these might get a much longer audition .

There’s really no difference between the 5s and 7s in size.

I've been playing the 7's for a couple weeks now, they're definitely not intimidating and finding the center of the clubface has been fairly standard. I'm not sure if I love the feel as compared to my '15 Kuros or my old 717V Honmas but my actual on course play has been really, really good, distance control has been intuitive and,  now that I finally have the lie angles sorted out, I'm able to count on a consistent ball flight. They're blades right, they play only as good as the swing you put on them.

This is false.  Top line, sole width, offset. and blade length.  Although, my opinion is the visible offset is what brings attention to the rest of the size differences--The differences are still there. I have gamed the TB7's for 8 months now and agree with H Matt above. They've got to be one of the easiest to hit blade style irons out there.

Your false. The head size/overall size is not much different at all. The top line is the same. The only difference is the sole width. The offset is the same.
It appears you say you have the 7s, have you even seen the 5s…

@jsmcdon  Yes, I have now seen and hit the TB5's.  I hadn't until spring of this year.  The sole is not the only difference.  I don't want to argue.  They are both awesome clubs for the right person.  Probably not a huge difference for some, but for me it is enough.

Here is the quote from their own website--

"Soft forged iron feel TB7 FORGED has a smaller head size than TB5 FORGED, which places the extra weight in the theater blade. By making it thicker, it realizes a more cored soft iron forging feel. Increased feedback in the hands, with pure, pronounced feeling as to where you hit it on the face."
