Titleist TSR1 hybrid

I think these look great. Has anyone tested them? Playing them?

I’m waiting until Thursday and planning on buying a couple when they become available in the stores. Hit them on the simulator and really liked the results.

I'm getting one. Just figuring which shaft to put in it. I'm getting it primarily for one long par 3 where I play that always gives me trouble.

Got fit for a 7h - Yep, a 7h.

Paid for a Titleist Fitting (Credited back for a club purchase)

Went in and told the fitter that I need a 160 club.

Started with a 6h but it went too far. 

So we dialed in a 7h with a MMT 50 Hybird Shaft. 

Really happy with the spin numbers - this should hold a green somewhat. 

  

 

The fitter lightened the weight in the back by 6 grams

Length the shaft by 1.5"

Made the hosel setting B4

TSR1 users? How's everyone finding the distance, given the launch and spin profile.

Really tempted to try one of these out, traditionally I would use a "5 Hybrid" to go 4 iron length , 4 hyrbid - went 3 iron length etc.

 

But I wonder with a bit more launch and spin, whether the TSR1 would truly play like its loft, or whether people still find the face way hotter.

i have the 4 with a heavy x stiff shaft in it. i would say it plays the distance you would think. goes the same distance as my 21 degree 7 wood did with a bit flatter of a ball flight.

I have TSr1 hybrids, and due to their increased shaft length found they play approx one club longer than an iron with the same loft. The 23° hybrid replaced my 20° iron.

I have a TSR1 26* hybrid (Atmos Tour Spec 70 R ) shaft at +1/2”.  Love it.  At 70 I can’t hit 5-iron farther than 6-iron.  The TSR1 26* is good for 155 - 160.  
 

thinking of picking up the 23* hybrid.
