Best Bag

What is the best Bag of all time that is Still being made, Both Stand and or Cart bag?

I'm not a cart bag guy so can comment but the PING Hoofer ( Hoofer Family I guess ) has to be the best all time carry bag.

I don't walk and carry anymore due to my Back, I have to ride but even riding I like the Stand bags also because I don't like big hefty bags.

My favorites have been the Ping Hoofer for a stand bag and the Sun Mountain C130 for a cart bag.  I used to only use carry bags and the Hoofer quality of materials made it last at least 3X longer than and of the other brands I bought (Ogio, Sun Mountain, Izzo).  The C130 just has the best pocket layout of any cart bag to make it my favorite.

The Hoofer is probably the best one, but there is no perfect bag.  Its like a 9-9.5/10.

Hard to argue that the Hoofer has been at the top of the game for multiple decades.  It kinda does everything at least well, and most things great.

Best modern double strap carry bag: Hoofer/Hoofer Lite

 

Best luxury bags: Vessel 

 

That said, I am very happy with my Shapland Bag and highly recommend checking them out too.

I think the modern two-strap stand bag for a dedicated walker is the Hoofer Lite.  
 

It has some club tangle, a magnetic rangefinder pocket would be good, the zippered water bottle pocket is unnecessarily fiddly… but the straps are very comfortable and it balances and carries super well.  If you’re gonna carry 14 clubs for 18 50+ times a year, it’s a good solution.

Hoofer and even the hoofer lite are too heavy.  The lite version clocks in over 5 pounds.  
 

Im looking for the ideal bag and I don’t think they make it.  Nike air sport was close.  8 way top protects your woods and putter, decent weight, great pockets.
