Wilson D9 Forged - Ferrules and shaft size

I’d like to swap out the shafts on my Wilson D9 Forged irons but am having a hard time finding the tip diameter along with whether or not I need collared ferrules vs. standard. 
 

Can anyone help me out. I tried reaching out to Wilson and that hasn’t gotten me anywhere.

I'm no club building pro, but I've done quite a bit for my own stuff. I've used collared and non collared. In my experience they both work. For the tip diameter, measure the existing shaft with a caliper. I uses non collared ferrules in my last wedge set I built, the OEM ferrules had a small collar.

I just reshafted my friends D9 forged from DG 105 S to Elevate tour (taper tip) and used glassbeads and standard black ferrules without collar.

 

They were snugfit and perfect.

 

Impressed with how tight in weight these are - perfect 7 gram

 

And hmm very nice looking

I rebuilt my set of D9F with Steelfiber and my usual ferrules.  The heads are not collared and would be your typical .540 OD.   I found the heads to be +2 to +3g heavier than the several previous Mizuno & Titleist I had rebuilt.  This was beneficial to me as I do very short increment builds and need all the weight I can get in my 5-6-7i heads.  Great irons -> a great blend of distance, forgiveness, feel, and good looks  !

Thanks!! Yeah I love the heads, just need a little heavier shaft. The DG 105 is a tad light so I’m hoping the DG 120 will be just right.

I did reshaft my D9F and I have the same impressions. A bit heavier than Mizzy, only the i6 was out of weight, and the hosel bore is standard taper tip. Some shaft bead needed but not much.
