Lightweight, low torque driver shaft?

Current SS hovers around 100mph and I'm a high spin player

Driver head is TSR2 10* and I'm playing the stock Tensei black 1k 65 stiff

I've been doing some research trying to find a lightweight, low torque driver shaft

I'm not even sure if that's what I need right now, but I want to give it a try

 

Looking for shafts in the 50g range with sub 4.0 torque

 

Some that I've found are:

Fujikara Speeder 569 stiff Evolution II (59g/3.5)

Fujikara Speeder 569 stiff Evolution IV (59g/3.8)

Tensei 1k Orange 50 stiff  (56g/3.9)

BGT Brava x stiff (56g/3.6)

 

Anyone know of any others or have had experience with the listed driver shafts?

All of the Ventus/TR 5 range are 3.5 and lower torque in stiff flex. I don't have experience with the 50 gram range but I've had Black,Blue, and Red in 6s and they are a very stable shaft with low torque.

Wow yeah I just checked and 5S Blue is 3.3 torque. I don't know why I didn't think of a Ventus TR, they should've been top of my list. I guess I'll be on a lookout for one now.

Not very common that going lighter would help someone with your swing speed that typically gets high spin - but you never know until you try.  Second, what you more likely want is a low launch, stiff tipped shaft - very unlikely that you need a low torque shaft.

 

However, in either case, this would be a good very (and inexpensive) one to try.

Before the tsr2, I was in a rogue st max with a tour ad XC 7S. That setup just felt too heavy to me. The stiff tip did in fact bring my spin down but my launch was too low.

My buddy is actually going to lend me that exact aldila shaft when I see him next.

But for now I found an uncut speeder 569 evo iv in an x stiff. Reviews were saying it’s a little tip soft so I might tip it an inch or so then cut the butt another inch to play it at 45.5”

Hopefully I find something that works well for me.

The Next Gen NV is a great suggestion. I played one very successfully for a bit recently. 

 

But, if you'd like something more expensive - and I don't think I'd call it "ultra-low torque" but it is extremely stable - is the MCA Vanquish. Great shaft and might provide what you are looking for.

Cut your current driver shaft an inch and try it. It will lighten the feel of the club and make the shaft stiffer.

I am currently playing the HZRDUS Smoke Green RDX (61g / 2.8)

Or you can also consider the next generation, Gen4. (60g / 3.5~3.3)

Those "60" shafts are actually close to 60g, while other brands of "60" shafts are normally in a 65~69g range.

The Ventus TR 5S shaft weighs almost 60 grams.  Expensive, but both the Red and Blue are fine shafts.
