Oh trust me I know....I've had the Gen2, Proto+, Gen4 & Gen5 drivers....with the Gen4 being the best one for me.

Hah, the exact PXG Drivers I have tried / played. I did demo the g6 as well. And the G4 was / is the best one for mer as well !!

I bought a set of Xtreme Darks off of PXGs ebay store back in April. I hit them on Trackman to do a gap test. The 7i went the distance I expected for its loft. The other irons seemed a hair on the short side and the 9i was barely going longer than the PW.

I had the lofts checked and the 7i was on spec, the 9i was 4* weak.. yes 4* which explained why it never went much longer than the PW and the rest of the set was 1-2* weaker than they should have been. Luckily they gave me a refund but have been skeptical of ordering a PXG iron again.

I only buy woods off the ebay store. I don't trust the irons since they wouldn't verify specs even though I messaged them. Haven't checked my xcor2 that were ordered new, but the specs seem on point.

Got Fitted at the PXG store in Westchester County, NY on Saturday 3/9. Well, I purchased a set of 6-AW/GW with Mitsubishi MMT 70g R flex 2* upright. First time in a "real" fitting. Very informative. Hopefully have them before this Saturday.

BTW, went to the PXG website and the 0311 Gen 5 Driver is $289 and the 0211 is $199.

I got the set for less than the Ksig set with 1 less club before shipping and tax with a fitted graphite shaft. Right now I think PXG has some of the best value for money out there. And they felt great!

The lofts are almost exactly what my Sim2 Max irons are.

An Update: Have 3 rounds in with the new PXG 0211 Xcor2's. I absolutely love these clubs. I tend to thin the ball. Well, not anymore! even when I thin it the ball flight looks like a standard shot, maybe a tad lower in trajectory. The forgiveness of these clubs are amazing. I'm a 16.8 Hcp. First round I played was a 9 hole round after work. Shot a 41. First full round was Mond. 4/8. A bit breezy off the water but shot a 90 on a course I struggle to break 90 on. Second full round was Sun. 4/14 and shot an 86 with a 2 club wind off the water. On 18 hit a perfect 7 iron into a tucked pin into a 15-20 yard wind to within 15 feet. Downhill slider putt kissed the edge of the cup and rolled by 8 inches for a tap in par.

I'm generally not a worker of the golf ball but I've worked on a cut punch stinger from right trees since right was a common driver miss and There are alot of trees on Long Island LOL. I had a shot that was blocked by a tree. Hit a 6i cut punch that turned about 25*-30" up the middle of the fairway. Yes, these clubs can be worked right to left although any draw I hit is a mistake 🤦‍♂️😁

Although they're not these clubs feel forged.

Quick update for me & the Xtreme Darkness irons. I did swap some Fuji Pro 115i Tour Spec shafts into the heads and they've been even better than before. PXG did a great job when they made these irons.

I've said this MULTIPLE times on this forum. TO ME these are the most under rated irons out there, especially for the price.

Just put mine back in the bag yesterday. The Gen 6 0311 XP's double-black are back on the bench for now. No special reason as I am hitting them good. Just wanted to play the XCOR 2's again.

As funny as it may be, I have a new set of irons on the way (Mizuno 245’s). But the Xcor2 aren’t going anywhere, they’ll stay as my backups or when I’m not playing a lot because they’re so automatic.

I also put these back in the bag after 10 months using Pings. Just feel better and look great. Went to the local PXG store to try the Gen6 XP irons and hit them the same as the XCOR2.
