Paradym Super Hybrid vs 1st Callaway Super Hybrid

Which hybrid is the larger of these hybrids?

 

if you have played with both which is more forgiving etc?

The original Super Hybrid (not Epic SH) was known for being a bit more difficult to use for a lot of players. The Epic SH was dead simple for me and I'd guess the Paradym more likely follows in that tradition.

I did hit the orignal Superhybrid during my search for a Hybrid some years ago, it was not very easy to hit. I did buy another one that time.

But I own a 3year old Superhybrid right now and this one is nice and easy to hit. the Paradym did not look very differnt from my one, beside the color differences

Interesting to see folks finding the original SH hard to hit. Any specific reason why?  I find it super easy the only issue being gapping as it goes way far for me.

I agree with you. To me, they have the best shaping of all the Callaway hybrids and are cannons off the tee. The only area I struggle with them is off of a bare lie, sometimes catch them thin. I'll take that one drawback for everything else they give me - a go to club on short/tight par 4 holes!

off the turf was just a struggle for me. Could have also been the stock shaft option. I am much better with a 4w or a UW than the OG SH

I have only played the OG SH but I don’t find it to be hard to hit at all and I use it to replace a 5wood in my bag I play the 20° -1 setting and it’s better for me then a real 5wood

I have to correct myself from the last post I made. 
the Super Hybrid I am using is the original super hybrid that came out in late 2019 

 

the hybrid I did use at a demo day in 2017 (or so) was another one… 

 

so my superhybrid is a option that I am using on days when I am struggling with my long irons. But there are also days where is super hybrid is going left and lefter. Overall this is the hybrid that did stay the longest time in my bag. The 23* version is as long as my 21* utility iron. The smash factor this stick produces is often close to 1.50
