Lucha Lab - Limited Edition

Here’s my next custom. It’s a limited edition Lucha Lab with two 14 gram tungsten plugs in the bumpers. The finished weight is 345 grams. The weights reportedly boost the MOI by 10%, which is what intrigues me with this build. I don’t have it in hand yet, but I’ll let you know what it feels like when I get it. US. It’s Tim’s newest release. I personally like working with Tim so I support him. There’s no games to play and the price is always fair for the amount of work he puts into his pieces.

Adding 7.78g to each end won’t increase MOI by 10%.  (At least not in my experience as someone with who designed putters with 120g of tungsten in heel and toe, 240g total.) Would be interested at what the actual MOI is.

At first glance I thought this putter was similar to my Bellum Winmore Cloverdale.
Makes sense, now that I know Tim is involved.

I have to agree with this. I dont think 10% is a realistic number.  Larger weights maybe....but these are just too small to make a difference imo.

Tim is working on the paint fill now. Looks great so far!

Paint fill is almost done. My daughter picked out a pink Iomic grip for me and Tim was kind enough to match the paint.

He once put in a shaft end counter weight for me at no charge.
