Plenty of static stretching routines on youtube.  You can also incorporate dynamic stretching such as yoga or pilates.

You'll meet most of your mobility needs through strength training, with a good selection of exercises done with proper technique through large ranges of motion. Much more useful than most stretching.

I agree with this.  Mobility is a much bigger issue than flexibility for most golfers, and strength training is a critical piece in maintaining/improving mobility.  The only catch to this is that the stuff you are doing in a workout intended to improve mobility for golf has to the thoughtful and intentional; a lot of resistance training will have health benefits, but won’t do much for the golf swing.

 

I do think that there are is a lot of mobility work available, especially for the hips, that can be done at home with little or no equipment.

Flexibility is range of motion at a joint. Being able to demonstrate control—strength—throughout that range of motion is mobility. 
 

Implement/external weight training can definitely help to quickly and lastingly ingrain proper range/mobility/biomechanics/form/technique. It can as quickly and lastingly ingrain/exacerbate poor/misunderstood range/mobility/biomechanics/form/technique and any ensuing or inherent (detrimental) compensations.The latter can set you back years. (I know!) The former isn’t the only way, and isn’t for everyone, and is most certainly dose-dependent….
 

In my experience, as it applies to not just better golf, but better living, gravity and bodyweight are superior to the weightroom (meaning more specifically squat racks and trap bars, etc.) for learning to better navigate one’s environment with control and dexterity at speed—athleticism. (If I may be excused such a blanket statement.)

 

Learning to actively lengthen (as opposed to passively stretch), learning to actively hold and pose and move one’s body; learning how to make oneself freakishly strong—display immense control—throughout all ranges of motion—particularly and especially at end-range—is in my experience not just a tenet of good golf, but of good living.

 

In twenty+ years of learning and experimenting and coaching (fitness, not golf), I have yet to encounter anything better at achieving the above than https://ftstreaming.com. Foundation Training. (No affiliation other than I’m an extremely satisfied, paying customer.) It’s all about learning to use muscular force to hold and carry and manipulate your skeleton the way it’s designed/evolved to be held and carried and manipulated. Try it—every day for 90 days; approach it with a begginer’s-mind; start at the beginning—and, knowing absolutely nothing about you, I bet you’ll be amazed. And then keep at it, every day, for the rest of your life….I’m doing stuff at 40 that I couldn’t do at 18 or 12 or ever. My 72-yr-old father is striping drives like he’s 50 again. My mom is pain-free for the first time in years….There are hundreds of ways to learn to become and stay mobile…but in my experience (so far), Foundation Training is the best. And it will support whatever else you’re into—especially all you press and pull and squat fanatics. (I know; I used to be one!)

 

Mobility is where it’s at. Feeling good and moving well feels really, really good! —Forever young!

You need to do both in order to fully reap the benefits.  Also, strength training without including a stretching routine can increase the chances of injury exponentially.
