Ooh, super-strong lofts. (I don't care what lofts are, per se, so much as I care about avoiding bunching on the long end, and worry that a 29 degree 7 iron makes that tough.) I hope that EVA polymer delivers -- I know you've said this before but they really, really needed to improve the sound and feel from the i525s. These look great, though! Definitely eager to give them a try.

G730 actually does look good, I could easily play those.

I wonder if Golf Digest got the i530 lofts wrong.

The 7 iron is the same as the g430.  If they lowered COG like some want, that would make sense.

Loving the i530s. They will most likely be my next set, assuming the lofts aren't as crazy as reported.

Same. It's a simple thing, but I love how the sole numbers now match the i and BP lines.

The S159 wedge grinds look awesome. They really have all the options now. Did they work with Stan Utley before to promote their wedge line?

Agreed. I hadn't noticed that before you pointed it out, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

 

On the lofts, my guess is that Golf Digest have published the power spec lofts, for whatever reason. My hunch is that the 'regular' lofts will be in line with the i525. 

 

Lastly, Ping is making noises about improved sound and feel. Hopefully that is the case.

I wonder how well those i530s could blend with the T and S sets.    I could image a set that utilizes all three!
