I just picked up the Max 10k a few days ago, but have hit a couple hundred balls on Trackman side by side with my g430 LST.

I tried my gamer shaft (Tour AD XC stiff) and the stock Max 10 shaft (Mitsubishi Kai’li white stiff) in both heads side by side. I am 65 years old, medium transition, and my sub-WRX swing speed was 94.3mph to 98.8mph.
The first thing was the Max 10 had the vast majority of the higher speeds and I was trying to make them equal. Take that FWIW because I can’t explain it.

So I am comparing the smallest head to the largest:

max 10 handles the higher on the face misses extremely well. I was using Trackman split screen seeing tracking and impact position. The LST is more punitive on all miss hits.

For some reason my SS stayed higher with the Max 10.

Flight and total distance were both up with the Max 10 by an average of 8 yards.

Another surprise was the two shafts gave me very similar performance. The new Mitsubishi produced numbers very much like the graphite design on both heads. I also have a Ping black tour that I want to try.

Best drive of day was from the Max 10. It was 262 total on a 98.8 mph swing.

It will be an easy decision on head, but the shaft choice will take a few more Trackman sessions.

That is surprising that 10K was further distance - I thought it would be more slightly more forgiving but not greater distance based on other comparison videos
