Driver fitting with Paige Spiranic data discrepancy between Foresight and Flightscope

I could not figure out where to post this so I put it here...

Here is a look at the data for a well fitted driver:

So, 94mph clubhead speed and 252 yards total distance. I have noticed hitting on my Mevo+ that I never get those kind of numbers which I often see on various videos using Foresight launch monitors so I plugged the numbers into Flightscope Trajectory Optimizer and got this:

8 yards less carry and 23 yards less total distance. Is this a settings difference of some sort? A nefarious plot on the part of youtuber club experts to sell shafts and clubs to unsuspecting viewers like me?

Also interesting that Paige ended up with an autoflex shaft which is fairly expensive...

It's probably set to Scottsdale elevation on the TM, if you put in scottsdale in the location of the flightscope traj optimizer you get 226 carry. She probably has the fairways set to firm.

Huh...

I certainly believe that LPGA fittings/club specs are very relevant for amateur male golfers. I get the sense I'd watch a fitting with Leona McGuire and probably learn something.

Paige and Club Champion...well, I'm just not sure.

I've long thought TXG juices their numbers

I realize it's a different launch monitor, but TXG recently did a video with Jason Kuback and he was hitting 380y+ carry on a 123mph SS

The TXG guys do seem to hit the ball much further in their own studio than they do on the road filming some of their OEM visits.

Foresight algo goes really far for low spin shots, too far. If you hit one like 14 launch 2000 spin on a foresight monitor it will say it goes a mile. Been a long term problem they’ve refused to fix.

Flightscope traj optimizer is very accurate imo.

Yeah, it's pretty stupid that it's been an issues all the way back through GC2 and it's never been addressed. It's not like they can even justify the accuracy on it....they just...choose to do nothing with it.

Every LM company has their own formulas. Thats the base issue. Add in things that have been mentioned like elevation and settings within each individual bay or monitor they use and everything is all over the place.

This is true but there is pretty good correlation between flightscope , trackman, Uneekor and other LMs. Foresight is the main outlier, it has been well documented and still nothing to fix it. Matches their horrendous customer service.
