Man, I’ve hit a lot of drivers this year and yet I avoided giving TaylorMade a serious look because I never liked the Stealths (Paradym Triple D beat it for me) and I assumed the Qi10 was more of the same. It’s not. The core Qi10 is as good a driver as I have hit. It’s unreal. So long and a big step up in feel and forgiveness.
 

i was fortunate to get it out of the sim and into the real world. Was able to test drive one for three rounds and all I can say is the on-course performance was so strong I sold the nearly new standard BlacK Ops driver I had in the bag. And that’s a really good driver. I tested them head to head on a number of holes. Qi10, for my game, it’s just better. I have not liked TM drivers really since the M2. Qi10 standard checks the boxes for me. Looks great from address and it’s easy to control and it’s workable. 
 

MAX was too high spin no matter what we did and I didn’t want to go to a 7 degree driver. Not crazy about its bulky look and I’m not concerned with having the highest MOI head. At some point, the law of diminishing returns kicks in.  The standard Qi10 at 9 degrees gives me a nice balance. I would describe the feel as fantastic, but I acknowledge I hated the Stealth both years. I’m glad I was able to give Qi10 a test run because it really shined. I’m about to pick one up.
