interesting combination of shafts.  tour-v then 125 S+ then 135 hi-rev.  lots of guys seem to like the hi-rev these days in their 60.

Those PXG milled blades are just amazing. Atleast domestically I think PXG was the first with milled wedges and blades. The Cobra Rev33 blades are unbelieve but came later. 

 

Does he play the Tour-V 125 in his irons? The shaft labels are blank until you get to a wedge.

That hi rev 135 is a great shaft in a 60.  Heavy and much more stability in the hands vs a s400.  The softer tip still give it some feel.

Good chance he will, he already is trying out the headcover, if things go well, he may transition into the clubs

yes, in previous bags it was the tour v 125 in irons.  The .370 kbs tours also come with labels that say 'fst' without a weight or flex designation in my experience.  

 

I gotta try the hi-rev 135.  I've always looked past it because I don't necessarily need spin but the kbs wedge flex x is too stiff in the tip for me and the s is too light. the 125 hi-rev is just too soft.  

 

I think its interesting that as the golf ball has started to spin less we see more and more guys going to shafts in their wedges that are softer and create more spin rather than using a higher spin ball.  the tour s+ and hi-rev is probably based on looking for specific spin rates from those clubs on certain type of shots where the tour-v was just a little too low.

Tour-V 120X or 130X?  Luke likes really heavy and stiff shafts so I'm guessing 130X.

Try the 610 S+.  It's what I have in my 54* and it was supposedly modeled after the Tour-V.  Lower launching and spinning and very linear in feel.

I don't believe anyone uses the 130 on tour or at least haven't heard of anyone using them.  It was reported that hovland was using the 130 but I believe that was an error as he has 120x through the bag iirc.
