Probably the exact thought he had too. But at the end of the day it's the only club you use on every hole (minus hole outs and chip ins) and has the greatest impact when looking at strokes gained. If they go in and go in often, and THAT'S the putter that does it.....well it's going in the bag regardless of looks.

The fact that a tour pro uses modus 120 stiff in his irons should all tell us something .... good or bad 🧐

Pretty sure these guys don't drool over SC Tour putters like the way we do since it's at their disposal like a napkin. If anything, the putter world is changing because of companies like LAB where the design is data/physics driven. All these guys care about is what gives them the edge in performance. 

 

Kinda interesting that his 3W shaft flex is 8TX but his irons are 120S lol

First thing I noticed too. He mentioned the 120S-s on his Twitter and said it's because he hates a heavy iron shaft, but I wouldn't have expected him to use something as soft as the Modus 120. Maybe 105X or something like that instead. Always interesting when tour players use a shaft that seems to be built for regular joes. It's all about feel, I guess.

I don't know how he manages a consistent swing where he matches up with a Modus 120S and yet has the TX flex heavy shafts in his woods lol. That's some weird "feel" vs real haha
