Gapping issue

Hello forum - I have questions regarding yardages/club gapping/aging/getting worse lol.

 

I still hit my driver about a 285-290 carry.  I play a TM Sim 8.0 one click lower loft. The following are the rest of my stock yardages

 

14 degree 3 wood:  255

19 degree 5 wood: 235

4 iron: 200

5 iron: 190

6 iron: 180

7 iron: 170

8 iron: 155

9 iron: 145

PW: 130

GW: 115

SW: 95

LW: 75

 

As you can tell, as I get lower in the bag, I feel like I am losing a bunch of yardage.  Ive lost about a full club overall the past 5 years that I attribute to aging/weight gain/inflexibility.  I have always had a "neutral" or just slightly over the top swing and hit a very straight ball.  Is this loss of distance in the lower clubs likely a product of steepness and spin?  Or?   I was going to go rent a simulator for an hour over the winter, and really nail down what all my numbers were but then got injured...and now that its warming, i just want to spend my time playing.   Any advice on where to look/what to consider about this gapping issue?   TIA

Lofts.  Pretty much it.

Maybe bump your lob and sand wedge q degree or two stronger.  Though if you're a decent wedge player with distance control, that gap isn't that troubling to me.

Club lofts combined with delivered loft. A zero AOA with very little shaft lean will do this, I know since I have the same issue. I'm at 114ish chs with driver, playing traditional lofts (28* 5i, 40* 8i) my iron carry yardages are about the same. Others with the same speed, playing modern lofts and with steeper AOA and more shaft lean at impact, can be a club, club-and-a-half longer iron for iron, easily.
