What course is that, is it one in Notts?

 

This winter has been nothing short of a joke in the UK. Courses will be ruined now for the entire year.

I feel your pain gentlemen. My home course is the wettest I have seen it at this time of year. Greens are bumpy and bunkers compacted. We have delayed competitions for two weeks and are still using some of the winter tee mats to protect the course.

Some years during rainy season, July and August, we have to close 9 of our 27 holes on the back side and reroute everyone.  Those back holes nearly become a swamp they get so wet.  The grass grows so fast, and gets so wet we can't mow it enough, so they have to close those holes.
