That kbs hybrid proto shaft is stout.  I played x7’s in my irons and thought the 105x kbs played stouter.  Ventus black 10x had more feel.

I mean I don’t see how he couldn’t unless he had them weight sort an out of spec head for him. That’s gotta be 10-12g of lead tape

Yeah I was guessing 8-10g on the lower side. We can only speculate, but he's either testing a heavier head weight than normal for him or this build is missing weight it would have otherwise had (tip weights etc). It's a very different grind as well from the other two wedges.
