New KZG Prototype Driver

Just got in the KZG "G-Force" driver and full weight kit.

Evidently there is a problem with the "G-Force" name and KZG has to change the name or something, not exactly sure what is going on with that!

This is a 10.5º 425cc driver I put an Aldila NV shaft in. If we still have some warm weather here in Ohio this upcoming week, I hope to test it out on the course... it was 60 today...not bad for Jan. 8!!

That looks pretty decent! I've heard that those gemini heads are SUPER forgiving but not the longest, hopefully this one will help with the distance.

The Gemini is VERY long I think. A couple of the guys I play with have one and crush it. If you get the proper shaft for yourself, I think it's one of the longest. I hope this new driver is as long as the Gemini. Actually, I haven't heard anyone who has had a Gemini made for them that didn't gain yards...it's interesting to hear someone say they didn't think they were long.

It's a bit busy on the bottom, I'll agree, but from address it's fine I think...and since that's what you see when you're using the club, I think it's fine.

I should probably have my Gemini in my bag, but I jack around with my clubs too much... one reason why one of my New Years resolutions is to try and pick equipment for 2006 and STICK WITH IT!

The KZG Gemini is VERY LONG. It may be longer than most driver's out there, for some odd reason, it is never tested by all the golf rags. Probably 'cause they don't buy any advertising!

I have a Titleist 905T as well as my KZG and the KZG is substantially LONGER.

I have some new Gemini fairway woods on the way to try. Hope they are as good and consistant as the driver.

Be sure and post about those KZG fairway woods. They are NOT cheap. I might get a KZG Gemini 3 wood this spring.

tried the kzg moveable weight driver = borrowed from formula 1 golf = top guy

fitted with graffalloy 35 stiff -swingweighted d3 -set up for soft draw

at d3 with this shaft fitted the club felt very light = head felt too light = i have been playing with gemini 460

fitted with graffalloy nt reg = fitted with counter balance certified weight = and this felt far more solid.the flight pattern of the new model was mid trajectory but obviously was too stiff for me has there was a tail to the right on most shots

would have liked to have tried the kzg with a heavier shaft as it set up behind the ball superbly

my swing speed with driver is low to mid 90,s and more of a swinger than hitter.

I should have my Gemini fwys tomorrow. I will definetly post a review once I have a chance to really try them out. (Your right btw they are not cheap)

I hit the new KZG G-force (proto-type) on the range last week. It was shafted with a Matrix HT (between stiff and extra stiff). I hit against a Gemini 460 with Matrix MT stiff and J33 460 with Diamana 63. Actually, was more consistent and a little longer with the new 425 G-force. The head feels more solid then the Gemini and close to the J33. It definitely does not have as deep of face as the Gemini or J33 and also appears to have more budge and roll to the face. I personally like the moveable weights more for swingweight than anything else. A complete weight set like TM will also be available. One further note, the clubmaker stated he was getting higher ballspeeds with the G-force over the Gemini with same shaft.

I have the Gemini 460 and also the Gemini 3 wood. The 460 is both forgiving and longish as long as I don't swing out of my shoes. I love the 3 wood. It inspires confidence. I used to avoid the 3 wood (original warbird) in the fairway and would go with a 5 wood. Now the par 5's and the recovery shots after poor drives can be saved with the 3w.
