Hey Everyone,

Here's a new Experimental finish for 2015, and named in honor of my favorite tournament, and Hole #15 in particular, a great risk / reward hole.

We had Pyracantha bushes all around our house when I was a kid, and my mom and grandmother would decorate the house with the twigs and berries especially during special occasions. Heck my grandmother even put them in her hair. lol. Never mind the thorns! (she was pretty tough).

This is a M4 Megalodon in 303 stainless steel with our new "Firethorn" finish. I think name fits, on multiple levels.

It reminds me of a cross between oil can on carbon and a case hard finish, except in torched titanium damascus colors. So of course I had to add a Titanium Damascus medallion to "tie it all together." (the Dude abides). lol.

I hope you all like it.

-Dave

My refinished M2A putter arrived in the mail yesterday and it's as good as new.

The hand bent hosel and softened bumpers are gorgeous.

Thank you Team Machine,

Really itching for my first machine putter to be done! I know the wait will be well worth it but it still sucks! Lol really need a new flatstick in the bag right now. Putting has been holding my game back lately and i think looking down at something completely new and different from anything I've used before is really gonna help me out! Save my game Chris and Dave! Lol

So I am very interested in getting a putter built - but the options are overwhelming! I have had a Method 001 (bought in Afghanistan when I first picked up the game, nothing but a small range and a sand wedge) and have tried everything from Scotty's and Betti's and found something lacking. I can not do a sight line since the only thing I have really known is the sight dot.

How do the different materials the putter is constructed from make a difference in feel? I like the slight click of the 001, but it is just ordinary...I hate that I am no longer happy when I pull the putter out of the bag. MACHINE HELP ME!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all the great comments. Sorry for the pause in posting. We've been cranking out some really cool putters but way behind in posting here.

So let's fix that!

Chris has a large number of customer putter photos, and I've got a few new models that we've been developing and ready to start showing off.

First up is a sneak peek of an experimental model we've been testing. I call it the "Double Tap" as there are two ways of mechanically securing the hosel, including when using the use of Delta Mod Adjuster spacers.

The experimental machine screw from the back of the head first appeared here on Page 3... This new "repurposed" use of the heel connection screw is used in combination with the hosel with either zero, one or two Delta Mods. This provides a redundant, back up connection apparatus, and also a means to ensure the hosel is only connected in the correct playing position, one of the requirements for USGA conformance (where each and all levels of adjustment must be conforming).

As with a lot of my work, I have a few layers of meaning and double entendres in the names and artist proof stamps - here including the double, hand stamped logos in the cavity; (accompanied by two medallion "dummy" screws); two bored and tapped connection screw ports (two types); double fonts; double materials (carbon and stainless); double loft and lie changes; two initials (not three) and all in work and IP that spans two decades....

Hope you enjoy the photos and the sneak peek at some of our R&D work in progress.

All the best,

-Dave

The TIG welded hosel in gold torch finish is very nicely done, beautiful work. With the Delta Mod system as well as all the ability to change neck styles, it is nice to see some of the custom work that some (not me :) ) may not know is available.

Just want show off a little putterporn Dave's making for me. These are in progress pics, about 90% done. A little bumper grinding and some torching before it'll be ready to roll.

Uploading on mobile, so sorry if the formatting is weird. Enjoy! I sure am.
