Hey Guys,

 

I hope everyone is having a great week! I wanted to share with you a Custom MACHINE ART Putter that Dave built for a Customer.

 

This MACHINE features a Custom 1018 Carbon M20 Converter Head with Hand Hammered Peening, a Copper Spacer and a Custom Trimmed 1018 Carbon Blade Back Flange that will give the Same Width of the MACHINE M10 with the Spacer installed.

 

The Black Back Flange features Hand Filed, Muti-Faceted Bumpers

 

The Hosel on this MACHINE is a Custom 1018 Skeletonized Pill Cut Plumber Neck Hosel.

 

The sole of this MACHINE features Custom Pinstripe Pill Cuts.

 

The Head, Hosel and Flange have all been finished in our Hand Torched Oil Quenched FInish.

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great Summer - here in the US or whatever season it is where you are! (I had a Skype call with the guys at Cool Clubs Australia earlier this week, and the guys there were wearing sweaters and had snow earlier in the week! Seems strange when it’s 100 here in Texas!)

I apologize for the delays in posting. Chris has been really busy with his new baby and new day job, and we’ve been slammed at the shop here with all the new business we've been so fortunate to with. But with a lot of hard work and long hours we are making headway in our backlog and lead times, "which is nice." Thanks for everyone's patience and support during the Spring and early Summer crush!

We've been making and shipping out some of our very best work lately, and we're remiss in sharing it all here, but eager to catch up.

We’ll do a series of posts of new custom and ultra custom putters we’ve made recently, probably a little more streamlined that usual, with a few less views and written details, if that's OK. If you want to see more views, or learn more details, just let us know! And if you've had a custom made by us recently, but you don’t see it here in these updates, and would like it posted, just let Chris or I know and we’ll be sure to add it here.

After that we're doing a fun new second half of Summer special that I think a lot of you will like. So stay tuned, enjoy the pics, and save a few coins in your PayPal accounts for the new sizzling summer special!

This MACHINE features a Custom 303 Stainless M1A Adjuster Head with a 303 Stainless Plumber Neck Hosel and a Custom Billet Copper Medallion.

 

This MACHINE also features a Custom Sound Slot and Double Sight Lines and is finished in our Antique Charcoal Rainbow Torch Finish.

Sorry for the naive question, but do you essentially use one basic style face and just change the back/flange according to the customers design?

Hello,

Not Naive at all. We actually have quite a few different head shapes.

The M1A Fixer and M1A Adjuster are both the Solid Head with No Interchangeable Flange, but the hosel is interchangeable.

The M2A Converter has the same head shape as the M1A, but features an Interchangeable Flange and Hosel

The M10 Fixer and Adjuster feature a "Dalehead" Style with the Adjuster featuring 4 Interchangeable Weights

The M20 Converter is the same Head Shape as the M10. but features an interchangeable Flange and Hosel.

The M8 Converter is a 8802 Style Head that features interchangeable flanges and hosels

The M11 Converter is a Mallet Putter that features an Interchangeable Flange and Hosel

I hope everyone is having a great week! I wanted to share with you a Custom MACHINE ART Putter that Dave is in the process of building for a Customer.

 

This MACHINE features a Custom Ocean Wave Damascus M9 Converter Head with a Ocean Wave Damascus #9 Flange with Custom Nibble Cut and MD Fawn Bongo Cuts and an Ocean Wave Damascus Laid Back Gooseneck Hosel.

 

Still a lot of work do go on this MACHINE, but she is going to be a Stunner when finished!

Hi guys, do you take many orders from people who haven't been fit or even seen a Machine putter in person? I have been wanting one for years but there are so many options I don't know how I can make a decision on what to get?

I never saw one in person and ordered two putters. Both were beyond my expectations, and Dave defined class.

As far as options goes, pick a shape and stick to it. The options are both endless and mind boggling...you'll never decide!

To your original question, I don't have a fitter near me, but Chris and Dave were fantastic at working with me to get the specs just right. I sent them my current specs and photos of me in my address position, with and without a putter in hand. Not as good as an in person fitting, but as good as I could do in the circumstances. The specs came out pretty close to my last putter, which I was also fit for. The main difference was lie angle - my last putter being much too upright. The club I have on order is going to have two Delta Mods, meaning lie will be [size=4]adjustable by 4° or so. [/size]

I agree though, the hardest thing is deciding what putter and options to get. I went back and forth for a long time on this!

I never touched one until I found thier site form people oon here talking and I put one together with them and its the best putter I have ever put in my hands. and the confidence it givesw me and the roll, I have never putted better. Worth every penny. And my god they are patient. us crazy golfers change our mind 100 times and email 100 times. and they are so patient. but customer service. This is a real putter.

This MACHINE has been finished in a Polished Finish.

Just a follow up 4 months later and its the best putter i have ever used. I love the sahft over plumbers neck and the feel and roll is amazing. if you dont own a Machine, pull tthe trigger and buy one. I did wihtout ever touching one before or seeing one in person.
