Haven't really tried anything else lately, like these alot. Plus, being 6'8" makes it a little difficult to make a switch. Standard irons feel like toothpicks to this giant.

Hi all, great site.

 

I've tried numerous sets over the past few years but I keep coming back to the old stand-by.

 

Armour evo V-31's with TFR 6.0 shafts.

Ben Hogan Apex Edge Pro. They have the stock Apex #4 shaft in them. I had some Apex Plus irons but I traded them in on Edges. Nice look, nice feel, they need some new paintfill but they're sweet. They're 4-E (I don't hit the 3 iron, I have the first Edge CFT for that, same shaft).

Currently playing Titleist 704.CB 3-GW -> 2 iron will probably make it into the bag durring the off season. I love these irons and do not plan on changing anytime soon. too bad I dont feel the same way about the rest of my clubs.

cleveland ta3's which i have WORN out. thanks to this site i'm jonesin' for some new irons.

looking for same forgiveness (love it) and softness in same size head w/ little less offset in 9 and PW.

think i've narrowed it down to mp60, j33 cb, or adams Pro. or do step up to the R7 forged japenese??

but can't find sets to try (gotta go back to haggin oaks)... anyone have any ideas? should i hit the 695 cb/s too>

hit the X-tours, too clunky, hit the cobra carbon cb's, not forgiving enough.

Wishon 560MC. My favorite forgiving forged cavity back. Great sole grind, medium sole width, thinner topline and very low constant offset. Everything I want in an iron in one package.

Well _currently_ in my bag are set of Mizuno MP-30's but ordered 8 days ago Titleist 695MB's with custom specs.

I played PING Karsten IIs (stiff shafts) for 23 years and passed them on to my son as a loan just in case I want them back until I switched to the G2s and M/B wedge combo fitted with much lighter CS-Lite Reg. shafts with cushin inserts. Much easier on the elbows and shoulders.
