Armour Evo V31 - a company that's been in and out of money trouble but has had some great looking irons. I had these for five years. Mixed in Stripes for 3,4,5.

I have 2 sets of Irons:

 

Callaway X-Tours, 3-PW, TTDG SL R300

Callaway Big Bertha Fusion, 4-AW, Nippon NS PRO 990

 

The X-Tours haven't seen any action since I picked up the Fusions. I will most likely sell off the X-Tours in the Spring if they don't make it back into my bag.

The best part about this thread is going back to the first pages, and seeing the difference between what irons people posted that they were playing compared to what is currently in their updated WITB signatures...A bunch of Ho's...Each and every one of ya'. :)

 

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Of course I'm not any different. But I'm better than I used to be as I now keep two sets of irons that I've had consistently good results with so that I always have something to fall back to while I'm ho'in. :drinks:

 

Currently Mp-33's which are on the tried and true, never parting with list along with a set of X tours. Everything else can come and go as it wishes. Ping I5's I've got on the way to give a looksy.

 

 

OK I'll fess up. I posted almost exactly a year ago, that it would take a lot to get the CG2's out of my hand. Well they served me OK during the year. However, after undergoing a thorough fitting comparing the CG2's with some newer sets, I just ordered a set of Ping I5's 1" over Silver dot ordered 4 through U wedge.

 

I played the CG2's for a year and half, that's a LONG time for ME :)

I play TaylorMade RAC TP COMBO's 3-PW Rifle 6.5's during the season, but when it gets cold, i need more flex in my shaft's and more forgiveness in my short irons. So in the off season i use TaylorMade 300 Forged 3-PW Rifle 6.0's.

Interesting that Mizuno is so popular. Thought others would be up there too like TM, Cleveland.....

 

The 32's basically pushed themselves into my bag. I wasn't even looking for irons, just trying to find a new PW. Tried a Vokey, Cleveland, TM TP, and then the store guy told me to try the 32's. WOW. O.k let me see a 7...(even though I'm NOT LOOKING FOR IRONS. I really like my TM 300s.) WOW the 7 iron in the MP32's is like it was made for me. Alright, give me the 5 iron......

 

Needless to say, out went the 300's (my bud bought them from me right away) and in came the 32's.

 

Mizuno really does make quality irons!!!
