I want a new Anser putter with the Newport II look !

Which one should I get ?

Hey,

I currently own 4 Scotty Cameron putters (Studio Design 1.5, Studio Stainless NP2, Studio Style NP2 and Red X heel) and will - no doubt - be buying the new Scotty Cameron Circa 62 putter. I also own the Yes Callie, NC Milled #1, Odyssey White Steel #1 and the Rossa Daytona AGSI. But I am looking into getting some more special putters, preferably with the Anser style look (Newport II look).

Could any of you guys advice me - which one should I buy and why ?

Gauge Design GAA 3:

I can't find any pictures of a TP Mills putter with a Newport II style look and with a sightline, but I hope I can custom order one from them, if I decide to get a TP Mills.

I'll probably buy one of each- in due time - but for now I have to decide if I want a Mizuno Bettinardi, a Gauge design or a TP Mills putter.
Or maybe from a putter company unknown to me.

That Bettinardi by Mizuno looks really sharp!! I'd go for that one.

If you want a putter TOTALLY custom for the price of some of the others in your collection, get a TP Mills.

If you are going for the Anser 2 look, Byron Morgan makes a gorgeous putter in that style, for a great price. Try www.byronputters.com and look at the 365 Proto. He is one heck of a putter crafter and sells alot of stuff overseas. You won't be sorry going this route. I have several Byrons and each is very special in its own right. Worth looking into. Just my 2 Cents,

If you want to go more for the look, then I superly highly recommend the Bettinardi. His putters are incredibly high quality and are a bling addition to any bag. However, if you're going straight retail and can get past the difference in appearance (not all that close to the NPII), I would seriously look into a TP Mills putter. For me, the feel is better and the shape fits my eye better (softer lines and slightly wider face to flange) in my 304 Stainless Klassic than my Bett. BB18. Close call in my eyes, but Mills has a winner in my book. ;)

BYRONPUTTERS.COM!!!!!

Seriously the BEST newport 2 style out. 303 SS in 355 or 365 gram heads without looking bulky, and completely custom from there. Byron is working on a 365-proto for me with my custom stampings with custom paint fill. Length, lie and grip are custom and he is huge in Japan. Ranks up there with Donald "Scotty" Cameron and a custom Byron is less than a retail Cameron.
