This product is NOT on the market, but is currently being tested on the PGA Tour. We do have a few models in play, with OEMs such as Nickent, Adams, and TMaG installing the shaft.



Overall the Tour models play softer, with a higher ball flight as compared to the Tour IROD Hybrids. Two models in 90- and 105-grams.



90 gram model

Torque: 2.3

Tip Stiffness: 38



105 gram model

Torque: 2.0

Tip Stiffness: 42

Yeah I agree....the other V2 shafts are so solid, I can't imagine that this would be any worse.

I love it. I cant wait. I was gonna just put a normal V2 into my hybrid but now ill just get one of these and put one in.... Especially since Joey K is a UST Tour Workshop now!!!!!!!!!!!

I had seen V2's in Nikcents in some tour pictures a while back (I think it was the Sony?) and I was excited to see if they were coming out with a Hybrid version, or whether these were just FW shafts installed in their hybrids, great news! Hopefully it will be a standard custom option in the 585H's!

These have been on tour for a long time, i've been anxious to know when they'd be made available to the public because they seem to be in A LOT of people's hybrids

Those torque stats are interesting. The fairway wood/driver tour V2's in the heavier weights all have torque values below 2.0 (as I recall the 85g was 1.8 and the 95g was 1.7). I would have expected these hybrids to be the same if not lower.

 

The Diamana for example goes from a torque of 2.6 in the FW/D 105g shaft to 2.0 in the 85g hybrid shafts.

Wow, I'd love to give one of these a try, I like the Banzai, and the YS-Hybrid+, but this could be good.
