Hi guys- we can get this product for you. Cleveland has six advisory staff golf professional board members across the US with golf shops that have access to this product through the tour department. I am on that staff and our golf shop has access to all of this product- for those in NorCal, we even have demo equipment to go out an try. At this point, they've asked us NOT to add it to our online storefront, only because they want to keep this niche and be able to turn it out in timely manner. As a result, we'll have to handle these as telephone orders- 888.988.FORE.
I think you guys are not understanding what we are talking about...the irons above are tour only, Edwin Watts don't have these, again these are different from the retail version!!!

If they were so available everywhere would we not see more of them around?

This is getting crazy!!!
Excuse me...we do understand...and BAL plays a set I have 2 sets of Tour Concepts. We do know the difference between retail and TOUR ONLY.

You are 100% incorrect. This year Cleveland started their "Tour Program" where select accounts could have access to Cleveland's tour clubs (including the CG7 Tour Concept). I have no idea the total # of accounts that are in the program but know with 100% certainty that Edwin Watts in Palm Beach is one of them.

They are not on the shelves at my local shop only the retail CG-7 Tours, but they can get the CG-7 Tour Concept irons and wedges all day long. I should know I just bought a set of Tour CG-14's last week from them and have seen them sell at least 2 sets of the irons as well.

 • 3 weeks later...

The head shape and grinds are real enticing and wearing me down. The heads sent in for this contest have been next to me for a few weeks.

They are smallish heel to toe. Close to the Callaway X-prototypes. The sole is wider and the 4 way camber on the sole is forgiving. The topline is thine and the toe shape is not round but more sawed off and square.

Ohh offset is minimal. Better than that they are tour issued and avail to us via "normal" distribution channels. Only a few people play them because a few even know they are available, they are expensive.

I will get a set built up and hit these. We need to know if they feel as good as they look!?!?!?!

Richard,
Wayy back when you got the heads you said you were going to shaft them and give us an update on how they worked. Now it's been WEEKS!!! Come on man, I know you are busy going to tournaments, taking pictures, posting em here, posting other peoples pictures, posting comments to the site, moderating the posts, watching out for me to rant against TM again..... :man_in_love:
Find some time!!!!! Get em done!
Inquiring minds want to know........... :D
Better yet, send me the heads and shafts. I promise that 5 days from receiving them I will have put them together, played 3 rounds with them, hit 6 buckets and written a review. Then maybe I'll send them right back....

These look really, really good. A cast head with some real player qualities. I don't like the red cavity stuff, but the shape, and sole are what I really like.

Out of curiosity could I get these in Canada? I owned an old set of CG4's which I think where the last of the CMM models. Now you guys say this process is too expensive to produce for mass market. Dare I ask, what is the going price for a set of these?

which one is more forgiving the CG7 Tour or the Tour concepts?

I say the CG7 Tour is more forgiving based on design only. CG is lower and the perimeter weighting in pushed out to the outside more. Soles are also thiner (trailing edge is ground off and the camber is introduced at a larger degree) on the TC heads. Not a ton but the CG7 Tours are more forgiving IMO.

Here are the soles of both...
