Cleveland Irons- Tour Issue "TC" CG7 tour Pics!

Comparison to the retail CG7. Dealers can order both...

Cleveland Golf Tour van has the Tour Issue (TC) heads. These heads are under rated. I am going to have to hear more about them. Look so good. Also the wedge is a rare find. More offset so they are rarely played on tour.

I wonder, when I trade in my current CG7 Tours (that I like better than the other 40+ sets of irons I have had) to Cleveland if they will credit towards a Tour Concept set?

The irons look a tad chunky IMO but not too bad other wise. I really like how those CG14s look though.

That was my 1st thought after I posted my reply but looking at last picture, not much offset at all. Maybe Easyyy can get some more info from Cleveland for us members.

So the tour concepts have more offset with trailing edge relief on the sole??????
The cavity is also smaller with more mass down low?

The wedge looks like it has the trailing edge relieved too. (like Jim at The Iron Factory did for my CG14's)
I wonder if the wedge offset is the same as the current cg14's

Isn't this always the way with golf. I just ordered a set of CG7 Tour irons yesterday and learn about the "super secret" version today. I am going to be happy with my purchase regardless but it always works out this way.

I have had the CG7 Tour Concept set for about 2 months. Prior to that I was on a pace buying new irons every few months. I have not even considered a new irons set since I've been playing the Tour Concepts. Ordered mine with DG SL S300 and they are as good as it gets and I've played about everything!

Very nice compact head with reasonable forgiveness.

I can order directly from the Cleveland tour dept. and I amwondering if I can order the Tour Concept version of the CG7 irons through them. For all the members you do know you can order anything tour issue you want from Cleveland from
mortongolfsales.com. . The stuffs not online but you can call them and order anything you want. If the girl you talk to there does not know anything ask to talk to the super shop manager. It's also haggin oaks golf courses super shop. The supershop has a entire display of everything tour issue. Full raw sets of tour irons or wedges and every raw wedge in any color you want. All the drivers . It's awesome. A bit pricey. I paid $150 each for my raw wedges. Also everything comes with stock Cleveland DG shafts. Any hep you might need let me know. It sucks since some guys were buying stuff and selling it for $75 more on eBay. I want you to get the best deal you can! I will check in the morning on these Tour concept irons. What's the big difference from stock and these?

I am playing a set of the CG7 Tour Concepts....very soft feeling irons. Of all the Tour Issued heads I have played (way toooo many) these are by far the best. One question for Easyyy..was the red insert on these iron heads plastic or metal? I understand there are two versions. Thanks

yes, I actually play those wedges, and until now have never seen another set of them except on the Cleveland Tour Van, the offset heads are played by a few of the guys on the Senior tour, they are awesome wedges and you can hit a nice trap wedge into the green with them, they are a little smaller head than the retail CG14's as well and they feel super soft, probably one of the rarest wedges out there

Cleveland "Tour Issue" products are available at certain accounts...nice looking stuff...heads are made out of softer materials so they could be more adjustable for loft and lie angles...wedges are nice but i thought looks amateurish...i personally think they shouldve just brought out the 588 heads in the same material that theyre using for the "Tour Issue" line...also all the Cleveland "Tour Issue" products will have a tour (t)serial number on it...

Offset is basically on ever club its not that offset means GI but just refers to how much offset. Blades have offset so maybe the tour offset is just less offset than retail

BR--definitely Tour Offset. They are more offset than the normal 14's, but less offset than the guys really wanted. DL and I held a ton of them today. E-mail me and we'll talk.

I do know that many tour players prefer some or much more offset in their wedges contrary to what most members here believes so.

Welll the wedges came but they were not the TO model. they sent me the Satin finished cg14, nice but they are going back. I will say the peopkle at Mortons are very nice and have great service. They called me and are taking back, which was nice. They said they cant get the TO model.

These are the CG14 Tour wedges by the way. These are 8620 Carbon Steel vs the retail 17-4 Stainless steel.

I like offset in my wedges, do you know if anyone can get them?
