Jody and the kind folks at Accuflex have been kind enough to allow us to demo an Accuflex Ultraboom shaft and (hopefully a component head), provided there is enough participation.

This is an initial thread to see how many people we can get interested in demoing this shaft. If enough people are interested, we can get this thing going and try out a great product.

Here are the rules to keep things fair, if you can't comply with the rules, please don't sign up!

1. Participants must have at least 50 posts and been active since January of this year. I hate to limit it, but without a retainer, reputation is all we've got to go on here. If the mods feel anyone is unreliable or untrustworthy I'll expect them to PM me and I'll nix you from the list.

2. You will have exactly 5 days with the club before it is expected to be shipped onto the next participant.

3. I will only ship to a confirmed home address. No PO Boxes or buisinesses. I will confirm the address via mapquest and google maps.

4. The club will be shipped INSURED USPS PRIORITY MAIL with a DELIVERY CONFIRMATION NUMBER. No exceptions or other methods allowed.

5. You must take a picture of the club before you ship it to the next person and post it in this thread it so we know what condition the club is leaving in and if any damages are made by USPS. This will also help make it easier to file a claim if neccessary. If you don't have access to a proper digital camera, you're out. Sorry but I don't want blurry cell phone or webcam pictures.

6. Post a review of the shaft and head combo.

I think that's everything, if anyone can think of anything else, please let me know and I'll add it ASAP.

Since we're not taking credit card numbers or a deposit should the unthinkable happen, I've got to stand firm on the rules. Perhaps if you've got 10 positive feedback's or so, we could work it out, please don't take it as something personal, but the there's just no way of knowing over the internet. Sorry.

I'm surprised there isn't more interest in this. Jody and Accuflex have stepped up big time with a great offer. There are plenty of members who qualify, we just need some more to be interested. You don't even have to pay shipping two ways.

I've been watching this topic for a while, but sadly my affliction makes this a no-go (being lefty, not the clap problem :) ), but thanks to TMfan for organizing this. Anyone have any specs on the UltraBoom? I do look forward to reading the reviews as they come out.

Yeah, I would also like to know what the characteristics of the shaft are. Kick point? Torque? Weight? Is it made for a specific type of player?

Okay guys, here are the specs on the shaft. I'm still not sure what exact head loft and shaft flex are going to be in the demo, but I've PM'ed Jody the first address to demo!
