I am loving the new irons and I had to change my driver due to swing changes (for the better) which cot my ridiculous driver spin rates under control. The Mizuno irons are no comparison to the Nike blades, they feel so smooth and the Vokey wedges are top notch. This should keep me set for quite some time.

I am new to the forums and thought this would be a good way to introduce myself as well. I am just getting back into golf pretty heavy after taking about 3 years off from the game and wish that I would not have stopped. I live in Iowa and peak golfing season is definitely over but I still make it out at least once a week if not every day that it is nice enough (above freezing). I am back in college, already have my AAS in Telecommunication Technology and am taking transfer classes at the community college before I head to Mt. Mercy to finish up my BS Management and hopefully join their golf team on my last eligable year to do so. That should do it for an introduction and now to what you are really here to see...

beautiful setup. Our bags are very similar with the VR and Squareback, same bag too.

Try the VR Wedges, they blow those mizzys away in terms of spin and feel.

Yea, was looking at some new wedges. Was looking at the Nike, Titleist, and the Mizuno Q-Cut.

Thanks again, I used acetone from the hardware store, toothpicks, q-tips, and a large fish hook for tight spots. The red paint on these irons can pretty much be taken off without acetone but the black is a bit more stubborn.

Nice bag overall. Great job with the paint removal - those VRs look 97346826892 times better without the paint fill. I sort of took about 8 years off the game myself, played like 5 times per season on average and am regretting it now.

I get them at the hardware store (ie: Menards, Home Depot) and they are for marking driveway entrances, drain tile inlet/outlet, and so on. They work really well for alignment and positioning.

Not sure I agree with the irons as I went from 68's to VR's.  I just like the way VR sets up, smaller head and less offset.  68's have a bit too much offset for blades to me.  Based on pure feel though, I will give the small edge to the 68's.

Nice looking bag! My buddy has a combo set of the 3-6 MP58's and 7-PW MP68's and it is one of the sweetest looking sets I have ever seen! Mizuno really knows how to make some sweet forged clubs!

Playability wise, the 52's are stupid easy to hit. It feels as though I can put whatever swing I want on them and they still go out with relative ease. This comes at the expense of feel, the are clicky and have a more dead feel to them but keep in mind that this is compared to the 68 which are magic to the fingertips.
