I've always struggled to find a hybrid I liked. I liked the idea pro I had but the shaft didn't work for me. I never changed it, just sold it. The little Adams would be great to try out

If you guys like the Idea Pro give the A7 PNT a shot. I am in the process of trading my Exotics XCG-V 18* for an A7 17*...fantastic club! At the PGA Superstore I tried the 909h, Pro Black, G15, I15 and the A7. The A7, for me, had the best feel and the shots were a thing of beauty. Best carry of the bunch, land soft and right down the middle. They are great for straight shots...can't speak for workability (will let you know in two weeks when I begin hitting mine off the turf).

My ss is 112 - 118 w/driver, a touch faster than average on the trasition - between a hitter and a swinger - very consistent ball striker. For me the 909h felt like one of the old persimmon clubs (nice but not what I was looking for). The Pro Black was like a clumsy forged cavity back...just kind of muted, yet still like and iron (muted in a bad way...lack of proper feedback yet not providing that butter soft feel of flushing a forged iron). The G15 was just ugly...couldn't stand the look from address so I didn't hit but 2 shots...decent feel, though I think it would bring too much left into play. The I15 is a very sweet club...feel and flight very similar to the A7 - maybe edged Adams a bit in feel. However, the A7 was a touch more consistent with more carry and less rollout (exactly what I was looking for).

In the end I think they are all fantastic clubs - just depends on which suits your game better.

This is my first post/reply...hope I am doing this right!

I am relatively new to the site, but love the game like everyone else here! These two hybrids are sweet!! These would stay in my bag forever, as I dont get a chance to upgrade my clubs as often as I would like. I have an old Nike CPR hybrid that I hit well, and I dont have a 3 wood in the bag at all! These two clubs would be great additions to making my bag a complete set. Thanks for the chance!

I would love to have this exact setup as I am going to a majority Adams bag. I just received my A4's and 9015, I would like to have these hybrids to complete the gap between my 3 wood and 5 iron. I also have dealt with joe many times and know he would dial me in perfectly.

Why would I like to win these clubs? Well, because it would help an avid golfer begin to replace his stolen clubs. Here's my post from 11/19/09 entitled "Stolen Bag - New Club Options"

"What's one of the worst things that can happen to an avid golfer? Some crackhead breaks into your car and steals your bag!

I know I shouldn't have left the clubs in the car. 9 times our of 10 I park my car in the garage but two days ago I parked on the street and I lost a bag that I've put a ton of blood, sweat and tears into over the years.

After market Fujikura and Graphite Design shafts. Satin Project X 7.0s. Vokey wedges and tour heads. Two putters including a Scotty. Two sets of irons including a new set of KZG blades. A GPS device, my father's old watch.... the list goes on and on.

So now I get to deal with an insurance company that'll tell me my clubs are worth 100 bucks and that I should go to Target and pick out a new set.

Well, that's why I'm turning to you guys. If you were to start from scratch (and couldn't afford a bag full of Scratch clubs) what would you get? Where are the best deals? How would you start building a new bag? I don't have a ton of cash but I do want top quality clubs. I get a lot of rounds in and I'm roughly a hack 12 handicap. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!!"

Since this post, I have have been bargain hunting with the help of the GolfWrx members for the best deals on a new bag. I purchased the Srixon I-701 tours for $269, the Adams 9015D for $100, the Sun Mountain sunday x-strap golf bag for $40, and I borrowed a putter from my brother-in-law. So I'm definitely still in need of woods, a hybrid, and wedges. Adding an amazing hybrid to my bag would be an incredible "win" after taking such a huge loss. And the generosity of the GolfWrx staff and Jow Kwok would be tremendously appreciated!!!
