Asking about the offset not that you would have difficulties, but that TM has reduced the offset and how do you like it now? The r7 Forged and TP Forged 2008s had the same offset, but TM reduced this for the 2009 TP Forged. I was hoping to get your Feedback on this. As an example, while the offset was reduced, it is still more generous than the TM TP MBs. I think I read that you have played all three (TP 2008, TP 2009, TP MB) so who better to ask?

(I game the 2008s and may go to these or may stay with similar offset and try the Burner Forged).

there is NO comparison between these and the tp mb's,, the tp mb's are way LESS forgiving , that's why i sold them,, those clubs are just not for me.. my hishits were way too penal and punishing.
these, the 2008's and tour preferreds are still great feeling irons and i hit better shots with them.
as far as looks and set up, these 2009's are hands more eye pleasing than the other 2.. in fact, i think the 2008's are not good looking at all, once you see the 2009's..
the bottom line with the tp mb's is that the sweet spot is much smaller than any of the other's. so you have to be a very good ball striker and precise in the impact area.
so many people on here claim to love their x proto's, titleist mb's, etc..and i would imagine they just don't know what a good shot should both feel and look like.. if there were so many great iron players in the world, why don't we see more pga tour players using them..

The top line is not on the thick side at all. They have rounded the edges a bit to soften the lines. They've taken the flat and squarish look out of it. IMHO, it's, much better. I'm really liking this look better than the 07's and 08's.

I had these and got rid of them to friend.

Moved onto Titleist 710cb. Like teh feel better. I think in the Japanese Taylormade line the Burner TP are by far the best.

you can't possibly compare 710 cb's to these..TM Japan forged irons are far superior to titleist forged in china!!
well,, if you lie the burner tp more than these,, probably cuz these are too much club for you..lol

Has anyone out there hit the Japan Burner TPs? They look sweet and not as GI-ish and blocky as the U.S. version. Trying to figure out how the offset compares with the R9s. More or less? Looks like Burner TP has more offset using the Japan spec chart vs. US but I could be reading it wrong.
