Well, it's been a busy summer so far. Crappy weather, really not great in that department. I'm wondering if some of us might be up for getting together either the 1st or 3rd weekend in August? Anyone that's into it, send me a PM and post here and I'll see what we can get organized.

The course is in spectacular shape! I was there about 2 weeks ago and it was a real pleasure.

yup played it yesterday, greens were great and the wind didnt howl for once. now thats the best monday tuesday deal in calgary, 51 bucks with a cart!

Sure! I live out in the country but am planning on coming to the city twice a month during the winter. I have a friend in hospital to visit that's not getting out any time soon, plus I want to work on my game at least a little bit so I'm not so rusty in the spring.

Summer is back and mosquitoes are out in full force! Does anyone have a range to recommend that will let us tee on real grass? Only one I know is Harvest Hills on certain days...

Douglasdale and Mckenzie meadows both have grass ranges. You can watch Jason Zuback pound his long drives at the range in Douglasdale, he still practices there I believe.

Shveet! I visited McKenzie Meadows and it's awesome; rolling hills FTW!

I visited Collicutt Siding on Sunday and it was beautiful. My score wasn't but the place was. +31 FTL.

Heritage Pointe is lovely, a bit pricey but worth it once in a while.

The RCGA center isnt too far away and inglewood course is fairly nice right now.

Yes sir it does. The Olds area has been alot better this year if you can make it there. I get out to Radium every 2 weeks ish and the rain isnt there but its been super windy this year.

Its a real shame that is happening for a lot of reasons, but it was a good affordable, walkable course with interesting hole design. Shawnee had you playing every club in your bag. It could have been something great if somebody bought it, but instead it is going to make that area of town even more congested once they finish building all of the condos/houses/whatever there.
