Callaway Edge Fairway woods

Any feedback yet from users?

Is anyone playing the neww Callaway Edge fairways? Any feedback? I was at the golf store today and noticed that the Callaway Edge wood shafts are a 1/2 - 1 inch shorter than the Cobras I currently play and wonder if I would lose distance because of this?

I am currently playing a 15* Diablo Edge Tour Fwy. 2-18 hole rounds, 1-9 hole round, and some range time. The club is ridiculously good. Hands down, best 3 wood I've ever owned. Looks great at address, sounds great. Nice shape, good hosel.....the list goes on and on. I have the stock graphite shaft. I'm able to carry it 255 consistently, dead straight. No complaints.

Can't speak to the shaft length question. Never put it side by side with anything else.

I have the 7 wood and love it. Very easy to get airborne. Straight not too workable. I've already ordered a 4 wood.
As far as the shaft length question I believe it depends on how consistently you hit the center of the clubface on each of the clubs. Part of the reason I tried the Edge was because of the shorter shafts and possibly more consistency. This seems to be the case.
If you were an old guy like me you'd remember that a lot of 3 woods today are longer than the drivers I grew up playing.

Good fairway wood. Evne better hybrid. Get the Edge Tour version. Otherwise, you'll get a hook machine if you get the regular one.

I have the 15* DET. I haven't had the chance to hit it yet because of the crappy weather. But, I will tell you that it setups beautifully. I love the shape and size. It's probably one of the best looking fairways that I have seen. That's half the battle for me. If you aren't comfortable looking at the club, you will probably not like the club.

I bought a DET wood, it's best wood I've hit in 10 years or more.
Also ordered a DET hyrbid, as didn't have in stock with flex I wanted.
THese are silly long, perfect setup, and forgiving, yet workable

I have the 18* Tour Edge and it's a great club. It's the lone fairway wood I have. For a tour club it's very forgiving. I also hit this off the deck with ease, I was playing the squareway which was great off the tee, but I had issues with consistentsy off the deck with it. The DET solved that.

i love this club, however i do not like the stock shaft. throw in an axivcore green and youd be all set. does anyone know the tip size of this club?

This Fairway wood put's Callaway Back on Top, Flat out performs and look's awesome.

Got the tour model in a 15 degree stiff. Sits dead square or maybe a touch open. Best fairway wood I've owned since the 07 TM burner TP. Great trajectory, great feel and easy to hit. What more to you want. This thing launches bullets. 2 big thumbs up from me!

The diablo edge tours are spectacular. Classic shape and a super hot face. I tested them out against a tons of 3 woods and got the highest ball speeds and the best dispersion. It came down to this and the ping i15 3 wood but the cally won out.
