i hit a smooth 4 iron... someone earlier thought 6 was insane.... i play every year with a guy who hits 8 from 200!!!!

 

we played in a 4 man scramble... 230 away into a 3 club wind ... we were all short with 3 woods/driver off the deck and he put us on with a 3 iron!!!!

 

some guys can hit irons far!!!

about a 4 iron i could push a 5 iron there if i really had to, i am a long hitter guys i won the london golf show mizuno long drive comp and ive entered many long drive comps but i mean hitting 6 iron 200 yards? are you sure? i can see a few big guys hitting 5 iron there but 6 iron is pushing it! thats like 4 or 5 clubs more than some other people! that would also mean you would be hitting a pitching wedge around 160 yards?!!!?!?!?! ok good going!

umm i actually do hit my PW 160. that being said im a big guy at 6'2, 175.
