Does a HO need both?

Have a G15 10.5 TFC reg flex shaft. Going to trade for a I15 11* TFC reg shaft today and keep the G15. Love the G15. Has been a good driver for me. I just really like the looks of the I15. Anyone own both? Which do you like the best?

I like players drivers, but the g15 is a better, more solid stick. I wouldn't bother with the i15. i15 fairways are good though.

I respetfully disagree. After using the I15 for one round I like it much better than the G15. Hit one of the longest drives ever today with it. I thought it would be less forgiving than the G15. I found it to be as forgiving if not more so. Very easy to hit straight and long. Love the TFC shaft. It is a better looking club at least in my eyes. The I15 is in the bag for a long time.

i wouldn't play 2 drivers that have drastically different face angles. That can mess up your swing. I have 2 gamers but the face angles are very similar

I play a G15 and love it and then hit my buddy's i15 and loved it too. I love the sound of the i over the G... Distance on both were good. I have hit some monster drives with the G and my partner is noticeably longer with the i... I would grab an i if I can get a great deal on one....

the i is internally biased with a sq face
the i is longer but the g is more forgiving
if your a good striker with driver i worth a shot and youll be shocked at the dist
If driver is questionable at all or your mis is a slice go with the g as its really strong

Last fall I picked up both the I15 9.5*(actually 2 to try different shafts side by side) and G15 9*. I ended up getting rid of the G15 and keeping the I15. Over the winter made some swing changes and decided to give the G15 another try mainly for the extra forgiveness, sold the I15. Now thinking about going back to the I15 but in an 8* since I am still getting way to much spin with the G15 9* with a whiteboard 83x. I definately like the look of the I15 better, I feel the G15 has better forgiveness. The search never ends............The best of both worlds would be a G15 7.5*. If I ever see one up for sale Im all over it.

I suspect you and many others wouldn't benefit much from the i15 fade-bias low-spin design. Now, the Ho on the other hand, is all about having, so it sounds as though there's your answer.

I know not every club suits everyone...but.....I have bagged the i15 9.5* for 2 rounds now. For me...I have added 30 yards off tee compared to my Diablo Edge Tour 9.5*. The guys I play with say it sounds effortless. It takes a bit of getting used to since it's a fade biased driver...but once you getting it working it launches bombs. I'd even look into the 8* version...but at $350+ I can only club Ho so much. Unless someone wants my lefty Diablo Edge Tour that I used for 2 rounds
