Alright everyone,


After reading an article in a magazine the other day, I was curious to see what juniors were using as far as tee height. So what kind of tee are you guys using, and what length are you using. Also what driver are you using with this tee height. Tell us how much of the golf ball you have above the face. I figured it'd be interesting to see how the juniors on the forum chose to tee it up.

Old Fashioned Wooden Tees
3.25"
R5 TP 450cc
All of ball above head if the club were soled on ground

Regular wooden tees usually, for some reason when I use longer tees, I hit it lower on the face. Probably a mental thing, who knows.

2.75 inch tees, whatever color I have. I tee about 1/4 of the ball above my Ping G5. Any higher and I risk popping it up and a dreaded idiot mark.

used to tee it high, but didn't feel right, so now i just use regular short tees with almost none of the ball above my 983k

I use zero friction 2 3/4 tees

 

with my driver i tee it up so around 3/4 of the ball is above the face if the club is soled on the ground.

I dont sole the club before my takeaway, I rather let it float. This helps with my accuracy and ball striking for some reason.
