XCG-V tour spec & CB2
Pretty much going to go with one of these heads. The CB2 will be a 16.5*, the XCG-V tour will be 15*.
Going to be used a lot from the tee, but want to be able to hit of the fairway in some instances. Also, how does the Voodoo play in the XCG-V tour spec. I tend to hit a high ball. The CB2 will have a Blueboard 83. Any and all comments appreciated

I have the 16.5 Tour Spec with the stock YS-Q shaft stiff. High ball flight with an abrupt soft descent, and longer than my Cobra SZ 3 wood w/ NV stiff. Despite the open club face I find it easy to draw, or worse ...hook. My natural ball flight is straight to slight fade. I think it has a pretty deep face so it is a great club off the tee, but I am still trying to get used to the deep face off the deck. I had been gaming a 17^ Titty 904f w/ DG S300, and the TEE is 20-30y longer, but the profile of the Titleist was more comfortable for me behind the ball. Good luck with your decision.

I think you should stay away from all xcg-v woods. I had one, it sucked, long head, like a hockey stick. so forgiving it is super hard to hit. I would get the cb2 or cb3. I have a cb3 and it is perfect, however my xcg-v was the worst club I have ever had

I have a cb2 with 83 BB S tipped 1.25". It is the only club in my bag that I will never consider getting rid of (that and any of the three XCG hybrids that I rotate in and out of th bag). I don't have any experience with the tour spec XCG because I have no need to look at anything else.

Thanks for the replies. I went with the CB3 with the stock shaft for now.
