The Signature Series price point will be $495, which is a steal for DASS but there will only be two models - the BB1 with Sound Slot and the BB8 Brian Gay model. Although a limited run, this may possibly be the first time since the Ben Hogan BHB5-SS where a DASS putter made it as a production model. For the one-offs and tour stuff, we always have Jimmy and Nick to satisfy those urges.

The "Metallic Fog" finish on the BB Series may look a little plain in the pics posted by Sakman but they actually look stunning with the honeycomb face. This is also a proprietary state-of-the-art finish that molecularly bonds the end finish to the putter, making it the most durable finish on a putter today. This finish won't even tarnish or discolor, unlike the current black nickel which will lose its "blackness" over time when played regularly.

The "Borealis Black" PVD finish on the Studio Stock has the same durability as the metallic fog finish, but this one will have a mirror-like luster.

As for the modified fit face showing up in a non-tour putter, wait until you see the Studio Stock models.

This is public knowledge. The 2011 Bettinardi Golf models will be launched in the PGA Merchandise Show and released on February.

Bettinardi Golf is not a major OEM brand who sells by the volumes and needs to churn up a Christmas release to capitalize on holiday sales. Bettinardi Golf is more of a niche brand that caters to those who appreciate the finest and most well-built putters that are milled entirely in the USA.

The Bettinardi flock are willing to wait. And I think Bettinardi is also willing to listen. I have a feeling the paintfill colors may not even be final yet. Remember the first previews of the 2010 BB Series which came out in last year's BMW Championship? The colors were not even finalized yet, and the orange/red paintfill was soon replaced to white for the actual production models.

Let the Taylormade and Callaway fanboys have their Christmas share. The Bettinardi faithful are willing to wait for excellent USA-made quality.

As I said no pics out yet. The only thing I know is that there will be a heel-toe putter in the Studio Stock line with a plumbers neck and raised toe. It may not be a JAM but could be something similar. If you look historically, Bettinardi Golf also uses slightly different shapes for its production models so that it won't be identical to its limited and tour prototypes. So I would think it could be a JAM with a twist.

I tend to get the info direct and almost first as I'm the Carolinas rep for RJB. Sakman got the first photos and scooped the field. I didn't get my photos until a few days later.

Here are pictures of my Bettinardi 50Cal which I will make a gamer (32/100). I chose this number since I am 32 years old now.

My friend got 88/100 which are in the last 3 photos. He is superstitious and believes in the luck given by #88. HIs is still in the shrikwrap because it will be a wall hanger.
