ADIDAS TOUR 360 4.0

How good are they, and how good of a deal is this
I have been looking for a new pair of golf shoes that aren't black. Seems like I have a bunch of all black options, but I want to mix it up a bit. Anyways, I just found what seems to be a great deal on eBay. The ADIDAS TOUR 360 4.0 BLEM's for $59,99. I can't seem to find them anywhere near that price anywhere else. So who has them, who loves them, who thinks this is a killer deal. OR who thinks that they aren't that great of a deal.

Do you have a pair? Are they comfortable, or are these the shoes that people complain about blisters?

$60 is a great deal. I thought I got a great deal when i got mine for $75 at a Golf Discount going out of business sale. I assume BLEM is "blemished". So my only concern would be that the blemish isn't really noticeable.

My person opinion, I had Adidas shoes before I got my 4.0s and have only had a chance to wear them 4-5 times so far, but for me, they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Golf or otherwise. Especially right out of the box, pre-breakin.

I've never had any issues with Adidas shoes. Fit is important and wearing the right socks with any shoe will help prevent blisters. I've worn Adidas from 2004. No issues ever. Right now I have 4.0's, Nuovo's, Adipures, Adipure Z's. All amazing shoes. The 4.0's are the most stable, Nuovo's are a little more casual, Adipures are classy, Adipure Z's are MORE classy, plus you can smell the leather when you open the box! The 2010 offerings have wider toe boxes which makes them a touch wider, which was a major complaint in previous years. Very solid shoe and very comfortable.

I started with a pair of Tour 360 II for $100. The soles peeled off after a couple months and Adidas replaced them for free. They, too, fell apart and Adidas replaced them with Tour 360 3.0's for free. After just a few months, they were no longer waterproof and I couldn't wear them in the morning because of the dew, so back they went. I just received my 4.0's as replacements, but haven't worn them yet.

They really stand behind their product with great customer service, but I really wish that their product quality were better. They make very comfortable, stable golf shoes and I love the fit. I just hope these last. I haven't had any long enough to have to replace the cleats.

I wear a 12 wide in that shoe, I can't find any blems in the wide size 12. Let me know if someone does.

I have a question about these "BLEM" shoes. I've looked on the Bay and about half these 360 4.0 shoes listed are there are Blems.

What causes a shoe to be labeled as a Blem? Is it always some superficial imperfection, or could it be a defect that would actually cause the shoe not to be constructed properly and it wouldn't be waterproof, etc? What I'm getting at, is there a good reason not to save the $$$ and buy the blems, or is it worth the extra $ for the non-blems? Thanks in advance for any help.

There is something cosmetically wrong with the shoe. A stray mark is on them, a scratch or some sort of small imperfection where it doesn't pass QC. Sometimes you can't find it (most times), sometimes you can. But it shouldn't affect the shoe itself. If it's something significant, the shoe is destroyed.

I recently bought a pair in size 13 from gpp and there were some imperfections in the leather, a few marks when you looked at them just right you could tell. My pair looked like they had been tried on and worn before as there appeared to be creases on the sides of the shoes from wear, but ??? the creases may have been part of the imperfection in the leather. Other than that they looked great, felf very comfortable and you would have been hard pressed to tell they were blems. I sent them back b/c they were way too big.

I need wide (E) width, and picked up a pair of blem's on e-bay for $49.95. You do need to buy them 1/2 size larger that FootJoys. I love the feel and stability, and have always played FJ premium shoes, but these Tour 4.0's feel much better. These are very well designed golf shoes.

if they are as good as the adidas tour ltd 360 that I have, you can't go wrong. best golf shoes I have owned.
[/quote]

I now have both as the Tour 4.0's just arrived. Hard to say one is better but they are different. My LTD 360's were a little more snug out of the box and have a narrower toe box, but they broke in quickly and are very comfortable. I noticed the Tour 4.0's to be less snug, have a traditional tongue design but I note they have a different spike than the LTD 360's. The 4.0's have a more traditional spike rather than the propriatary Adidas "no clog" that came with my 360's (which I really like). I'm wondering if the spike on the Tour 4.0's is a special Adidas thread design or a QLock or something.

4.0 does fit differently from the older models. Most people have to go down half size to get a better fit.
I do like the old Adidas spikes better as well.... The new spikes now use a PINS connector, so none of the original ones would fit. The PINS is similar to QLock but only has two prone instead of 3 on the QLock.
